"stay" move command. (Wishlist)
"stay" move command. // WishlistferruccioOct 30, 2003, 3:58am
There are a lot of people who use move commands to get all the objects they
want in one space. If the cell space is full, they just put objects in another cell, and use a move command with a really long "wait" on it, to move the object to where they want it located. It would be nice if there was a "create move x x x stay" which would instantly move the object with the given movement values, and have it stay there forever. d a nOct 30, 2003, 8:49am
Id like that :)
Though we do have rotation features in AW. That mainly would be good for light shows. --- D a n alexthemartianNov 1, 2003, 3:54am
one obsticle.. vandelism.. if anyone can think of a way to have this feature
but still prevent encroachment, this will be a great addition [View Quote] johnNov 1, 2003, 7:25am

I really do not think that vandalism would be a huge problem. It does not
seem like it is a huge problem right now. ferruccioNov 3, 2003, 4:35am
Along the same lines, I think we have proven to AWI that we can be trusted
with move commands. It doesn't seem like AWTeen is full of people vandalising, and AW consists of a more mature userbase. How about enabling move commands in AW as well? ;) *knows that this post is pointless, AWI listening.. what nonsense!* bowen ten.sardna@newobNov 3, 2003, 5:28am

AW isn't full of people period. The people who want to vandelize can't
dish out $70. Nor will $70 go unnoticed on stolen credit cards. The only problem AW's denizens have with the move and such commands is that they destroy the "classic" feel. To which I say, who cares, you're not forced to use them. Boo hoo, you don't like to rotate a fan? Well use astart commands. Maybe you'd all like just CY and a room full of PP01's and whatever the floors were with a mailbox as your only objects. I don't know, it just seems stupid not to turn on all the features on the flagship of this universe. It's the only thing left that they have short of AWTeen and AWGate. Unless RPGs are up your ally -- which you definately wouldn't be paying money for this if that was your sole passion. -- --Bowen-- http://bowen.homelinux.com Give me ideas. |
