A matrix-style plugin for aw.. and some hardware to go with it.
Maybe LPT and USB connections.. ;)
Aug 17, 2003, 1:22am
.... .... .. Why don't you wish for a trillion dollars in pennies to rain
down on your house in a hellish painful rain? I'm sure that'd be much more
enjoyable, and cost effective.

I'm assuming you mean drill holes in the backs of everyone's head so they
can just use AW. If you actually managed to pull it off, you would notice
that in the VR world every single vertex on every object is extremely sharp!
If you touch.. say.. the paper-thin edge of a pp16, you'll be sliced in half

If you drilled holes in ANY part of ones head, it would normally lead to
death... Lets hope AW doesn't kill its userbase with a silly "feature".

Unfortunately, or order for it to work you'd have to tap into the
beginning of the spine. You have to intercept all incoming neural
signals. Deciphering them would be the tricky part.

Usually drilling *into* ones head, means you hit soft tissue, brain matter,
etc. Now, drilling a *hole* in ones skull is another story... But, inorder
for something like a "matrix style" hijacking of nervous signals, you'd need
to tap into soft tissue. Not to mention that each fiber is tiny, and
covered by a protective casing, which would mean if you screwed up a tiny
bit, the user might be dead, or handicapped for the rest of their natural
lives. So, usually, you'd end up killing someone before you could take over
their brain.
Uh, don't sign me up please; I like living...

This is the second time in a few days that you proven that you have no
capacity to read. Did I say anywhere in my post that I would like to
"volunteer"... No, it didn't. Hell, I even said that I *did not want to
volunteer*... How much more clearer does it need to be? Perhaps you should
go back to school and learn English, before people start laughing at you.
Seriously though, you're either dyslexic or a moron, I cant tell which.... I
leaning more towards the latter.
