You know what would be great? If it acted like a standard chat box with "cut",
"paste", "copy", et al. and when you go to click in it, instead of automatically
clicking the link you last clicked or going up to what you last highlighted, it
checks for a double click. That would be a lot better, if that made sense.

Ctrl + c will copy
Ctrl + v will paste
But still I agree it would be nice if we could right click in the chat to
access these.

I realise that you can copy and paste with ctrl c and v, but sometimes
it doesn't actually copy for one reason or another. I get this a lot when
I'm out of RAM (like the gravity bug). The only way to copy and paste from
then is to either go to my chat log, or restart my computer and than go to
my chatlog (lol). On webpages however when I can't ctrl+c I can right click
and select copy and it works. The point is I agree that this features should
be included.

I think I know what you are talking about...might try clicking around from
the screen chat to the chat box seems to re-activate it. Also might try
Shift-Insert for pasting too. Might even clear your clipboard before trying
this.
Crtl-A Highlights All
Crtl-C copies
Crtl-V pastes
Shift-Insert pastes

Yep.. and Ctrl-Insert for copy. Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V were brought over to Windows from the Macintosh, and because some developers were only aware of one set of keyboard shortcuts or the other, they have different amounts of predictability in different areas. For example, I've found that although Ctrl-Insert works in a Windows XP directory folder, it will fail when the window is busy where the copy option in that window's edit menu will not. Ctrl-Insert seems to be reliable in the Active Worlds chat history. I agree though, that those would be nice features to have in the right click menu.
