I'm posting this for Sidris who is unable to post to the wishlist newsgroup
for some reason:

I don't know if this has been suggested but I think the object properties
box is too big. Since the release of 3.3 I find I spent an enormous amount
of time moving the box around so I can see what I'm doing. It would be
great if the box could be made so it can be re-sized or, even more radical,
if it could be redesigned a la the tools in Photoshop which is slender and
very sexy in a geeky sort of way.

I agree. I have a small screen and when trying to build the bloody box cover
half my screen.

Loads of people only use the box for typing object names, descriptions or
actions.. what would be nice would be:

Show All, showing the regular object properties dialog box.

All the others would show the selected section.

I would like this as I, generally, use the keyboard for most of the building
features and the object properties dialog is a hinderance more than a help.

i think it would be really really annoying having to select which thing you
want to adjust like that...personally..i don't use activeworlds full screen,
so i drag the properties box a little off the screen, and i'm fine with
that, doesn't obstruct much of my video view.

I agree, maki and I'm sorry I suggested a totally redesigned box. I like
the size of the box in the graphic john posted but using it seems too labor
intensive to me, too much selecting just to select. I don't know much about
programming so I don't know if it would be simple to implement but I think
making the box re-sizable by the user would be ideal.

This may possibly be a redundant post, I've been messing with the settings
in my newsreader...

I think that should be the default if they do use something of this nature. Also, I would recommend keeping the Edit, Move, and Rotate menu.
