English-speaking default telegram.wav isn't such a great idea,
unless there is a way to localize sounds with message sets... Ah well, followups to Wishlist I guess. [437] -- Mauz http://mauz.info d a nOct 24, 2002, 8:32pm

Maybe a feature in settings could be added to be able to browse for a file to use. Or instead of having the default sound 'speak' although it is really funny, a simply sound with no voice in it, a bit like the one you get when 'clicking' on a telegram would be more suitable. -- ,,,,, (o o) /--------------ooO--(_)--Ooo--------------\ | Anduin (317281) | | o The Gorean Scribe | | o http://www.anduin-lothario.com | | o World: GorSJ (Under Construction) | \--------------ooO-------Ooo--------------/ anduinOct 25, 2002, 1:41am
I would propose this for the telegram sounds:

Dos not really belong here, however notice how the .wav's are in a DEFAULT
folder...maybe it will also be changed to SPANISH and FRENCH and so on... > English-speaking default telegram.wav isn't such a great idea, > unless there is a way to localize sounds with message sets... > Ah well, followups to Wishlist I guess. > > [437] > > -- > Mauz > http://mauz.info > > anduinOct 25, 2002, 4:15am

Good idea. Does not seem to work yet though, at least when
I simply copied the Default folder under other message set's name. I was not using Default.awm to begin with, and still heard the default sounds. -- Mauz http://mauz.info sgeoNov 13, 2002, 4:43pm
Might be wrong, but I thought Trillian Pro costs money, and there is a free
version of Trillian. [View Quote] |
