Builder A has a lot on a world, builder B has another lot in the same
world.
I wish a way to disallow builder B to select builder A's objects.
And vice versa.
Same thing for flying and pass thru would also be very handy sometimes.

please explain how this would be handy? this is how many of us shop

It would be handy for example if you would run a game on your world where
you also have builders.
To avoid "cheating" for the game, you need to disallow right click and
sometimes to disallow other features as well.
But to disallow the right click to everybody you need to take away the
build right from your builders.
The point is to disallow the right click on certain areas, for example a
game area, from both builders and non builders.
All that without taking away the build right from builders.
I am sorry if I am not very clear with that post, but I am still suffering
with english language ;(

Maybe it would be handy to prevent people from shopping that way and getting their own ideas :o)

This is exactly my point LOL !
I would like them not to be able to right click on a specific area only,
like a game area, and to keep their right to build (including the right
click of course) everywhere else on the world.
The purpose is not to prevent from "shoping".
The purpose is to prevent from cheating in the game area.

I dont think its very fisable, it would create HUGE strain on the world server and qould require 1 hell of allot of admin which would most probably require a advance bot,

Okay like this, every time someone tries to select a object it had to do a new callback to get a RC value on it, then decide if its clickable or not, this is for every object you select. Or download a huge config file when you enter the world which would be just plain stupid and would need a hell load of new SDK featurees..

.... or just add a "selectable" flag to the property dialog (and maybe a
changable default value in the browser). The feature isn't of interest to me
so I've not put much thought into it, but if the checkbox (I would guess)
was enabled for multi-object selects then changing whole areas of objects
from selectabe to non-selectable would be made simple.
Just the ramplings of the ease-of-use side of my brain ... if this feature
was to be supported in the browser.

Hey I have an idea... you say you don't like people cheating by right
clicking on teh game objects right?
Why not have a bot in there monitoring certain objest, you will likely have
to "name" those objects to monitor. Then if someone right clicks on them
have the bot put out a message in teh open that soandso right clicked on
suchandsuch object... that will curtail cheaters in a quick hurry. If that
person does it X amounth of times, the Bot bans them till teh end of teh
game.
Plain and simple solution... right?

You still need a mega high capacity bot to track all the clicks, keep trac etc, you might as well just ask em not to click on others property, not that I can see anything that needs hiding.
