I was thinkin today.. a lot of people go AFK.. and people get mad if they
don't respond.. so why not add a feature instead of a green checkmark.. if
the person is idle make it a hourglass or something.. just an idea..

If we're gunna have an option to be able to turn off green checkmark, we =
can just do that if we go AFK :)

Your idea isn't that bad, though. Maybe take a few ideas from ICQ, add a =
"BRB" mode etc.

I have been thinking the exact same thing too, Lanezeri..
Add another column, like the "world" column and call it "status"
Different modes that could be selected could be AFK, BRB and DND (to name or
repeat a few)
I think this would be an excellent feature to implement into the browser.

that would take up too much room on the browser.. I think just have a =

If AW supported umm PLUGINS I am sure we would get everything we want. However, I think that a
telegram answering daemon (been reading Snow Crash) would be a cool idea -- basically you can set a
message and if someone telegrams you and you are away (it could detect inactivity for, oh, say, 5
minutes) it would respond "I am not at my desk at the moment but I will get back to you as soon as
possible."

your offline it should be clear the circle, and when your afk there should
be a message in telegream and a red light when your away...

How so? I make a plug-in, I use it on my AW browser. If anyone wants my
plug-in, I could sell it, or give it away, but I don't see it getting out of
hand. Why wouldn't citizens be able to make their own, anyways? I remember
the day when making bots was unheard of, only for AWCom, and maybe Ima
Genius. That wasn't because we couldn't, just because it wasn't very
developed. I don't see any problems with plug-ins, except for that I don't
see much of what they could do.
