Mirrored surfaces (Wishlist)
Mirrored surfaces // WishlistcyberjockyNov 29, 1999, 2:27pm
Maybe this already exists. Wouldn't it be nice if AW had a set of mirrored
surface objects? I think it would be nice if somewhere around ground Zero there was a mirror so I could see what my avatar looked like. Could this be done with a bot? Lynn mauzNov 29, 1999, 3:44pm

Unfortunately you can't make mirror objects with current AW.
But yes you can do it with a bot; I had lots of fun with XelaG's mirror bot in Worldcon-VR's E_XPO world a while back ;) I think it will be featuring in some AV99 world next Saturday too. You can download Xelagot bot here: http://www.imatowns.com/xelagot/xlgdl.html and the Mirror Bot script for it here: http://www.imatowns.com/xelagot/xlgasex_mirrorbot.html -- Mauz http://tnlc.com/mauz/ rocamboleDec 6, 1999, 6:39pm
Worlds Inc. - the original revelopers of Active Worlds - have nice mirrors in
their new virtual community system Worlds Ultimate Chat Plus. Since Worlds Ultimate Chat Plus seems to be renderware-based like AW (at least there are lots of rwx objects in the cache), it should be possible to have mirror surfaces in AW as well. But maybe I'm totally wrong. Rocambole [View Quote] > Maybe this already exists. Wouldn't it be nice if AW had a set of mirrored > surface objects? You can make mirrored objects if you want by using RWXmod17. There you open a
object and turns it upside down to make the mirror effects. I've done it myself a few times and the result can be seen in the world ROC. Rypp #214017 [View Quote] > Maybe this already exists. You can make mirrored objects if you want by using RWpaint. There you open a
