I would really like to see a command that you can like go up to
an object and click it and all the objects it is attached to by
a command become part of your avatar like you run into a
pole4m02.rwx and you click it and it asks you if you want to
keep the object and if so what hand to equip it too or with
some larger objects like rocks and things it requires 2 hands
to pick up. It would make those shops a lot more fun than just
handing over fake money and getting nothing except a picture.

Or you can run around in the AWSuperMarketWorld, with your shopping cart
equipped AV, and pick out canned food. The stuff in the shopping
cart. :)

Or, more practically, being able to "carry" (copy or move) multiple objects (ala ctrl-selection) to other in-world (and perhaps other worlds) locations would be nice, especially if a complex creation is one place and you'd like it moved somewhere else.

As for the objects becoming part of your avatar, I think the copy/move multiple object carrying should not necessarily work that way. I'd rather have an option to place them in a "holding area" or "buffer" and then place them somewhere else. It might even work like copy/cut/paste with a clipboard being where the objects are stored until pasted in a new location.

Is it possible to make a bot that can do this ?
Detect what objects you have selected , remember thier positions
in relation each other , then have it *create* that combination of objects
where you indicate ?

That would be a good suggestion to add to the bot newsgroup

From what I know so far, it isn't possible do have a bot detect an object
only by selecting it.
It seems the object has to be changed (added/moved etc) in some way for a
bot to 'be aware' of it.
Correct me someone if I'm in error :-))

A while back Looked over some of the docs on the sdk ,
I only do javascript , so I understood little :-) , but I do remember
that a bot can query the server for object data of by coords , right ?
if so , what about a bot , that if you tell it the 4 corners of a box ,
queries for all the objects made by you that are within that square
entirely ),
then reproduces the scene where you tell it to ?

or you tell it the center point coords and maximum radius instead defining
4 coords

Actually, our Daniel bot in AWGames can do this. :) It can query, then
determine a box from 2 or more avatars... Then it can save the objects in the
box and rebuild it. :)
