....an ICQ-like aural notification of an arrival of a member of your
contact list. or, to put it simply, a sound when someone on your contact
list gets on, there's a sound.

IF this is so then a way to turn it off aswell, if one doesn't wish to make
his/her presents know to those on the contact list...
