Yeah ... and I'd like to be able to relocate all my property which lies
within a specified area to another location where I'd have more room to
grow.

Actually can ,now, with 2.0 :-)
just use multiple object selection and RoboBuilder to move it (may a take a
while if you're moving long distance)

Be "VERY" careful though. Make absolutely SURE that the place you are
moving to has enough room and will not cause encroachment, or you'll destroy
your property. Also, if you intend to move a great distance "blindly" you
will want to make sure that you know "exactly" which direction your stuff
will be moving in. The last object selected will deside the alignment of
your movement. You may want to create an object just for that purpose, line
it up neatly in the direction you want it to face, and select it last to
control the four directions that the selection group will move in....
possibly even test move a copy of the object first, just to be extra sure.

The last time I used RoboBuilder, yes, it said (if I recall correctly) to
face your afatar north, and something about making sure the object was
aligned right also.. although I don't recall the wording. Anyway, what it
comes down to is if your object is not aligned in a north-south or east-west
position, it will not move North, South, East, and West, but rather will
move along some other two prependicular lines based on the rotation of your
object. What I was saying is that when selecting a single object, you
generally know which way it is aligned (unless it has been shift-rotated)
whereas when you select a cell full of objects at a time, there is no way to
know exactly which way they will move until you start moving them. The
solution to this is to keep an object nearby that is aligned the way you
want the group to ACT as if it is aligned, and add that object to the
selection group LAST so that it's alignment will be used as the alignment
for the group.

I seem to be in the dark regarding the RoboBuilder ... but I noticed that when I
CTRL-SHFT-RightClick on an object, several objects are selected and I can
continue to CTRL-SHFT-RightClick other objects into the group. I assume the
RoboBuilder will allow a group like this to be selected and moved (more easily I
hope). BTW, I have version 2.0 but cannot find RoboBuilder ... where is it?

RoboBuilder is a program (by BinaryBud) designed to speed up a few simple
repetative tasks in Active Worlds. I don't know it's present list of
features, but at the time I tried it, you could use it to make a row of
evenly spaced copies of an object, move an object to a distant location
(although this still takes very long, but it counts the clicks for you so
you don't have to) or cover a rectangular area with evenly spaced copies of
an object. I don't recall good enough to quote BB exactly on this, but
basically, he told me that it's not a program for beginners, but rather a
tool for advanced builders. (Feel free to jump in and correct me or
elaborate if you're around.) Also, don't expect to be able to do anything
"new" with it if you get it. It's just a time saver for people who already
understand building and object placement.
