I am running a public building world with tourist enabled ands was wondering
if there was a way to get a bot or something to protect land. The citizen's
builds are getting vandalized, not by deletion but by tourists putting up
(inapporpiate) photos or creating a object in a others build and holding
down insert. Any ideas. the world is TownSQ

Connect to the world server with your admin tool.

[View Quote] You have no abitlity to upload your registry to AW's world hosting AFAIK so you can't implement registry on a world hosted by AW neither can you connect with the admin tool.

If you're running the Alpha World object path (the default when you first get your world), then you can just e-mail AWI and ask them to activate Alpha World's registry in your world. But first you will have to make sure that no citizen's property encroaches on anyone else's, or you may end up losing objects.

You can reach AWI by e-mailing support at activeworlds.com

[View Quote] You are not loosing objects if they are encroaching with the new world server but you'll have tremendous problems with the BI.

[View Quote] Sorry about the misinformation. I haven't worked with a registry since pre-3.0 world server days, so I'm a bit out of date.
