[View Quote] I talked to DoctorNet a little while earlier in AW... he's running on the GNU from Cygnus. There are some threads near the top of this group that talk extensivly on the GNU's protocol for bypassing the Visual C lib file that comes with the SDK, since the GNU can't use it. If you need further help, dload the attachment which is an example of the GNU's format... contains source and a compiled example. Though, be warned. it is incredibly out of date, as I haven't bothered with this one since late september. It is still, in essence, what you should go for... remember (anyone who dloads it) to change the paths for the AW.h file, and the AW.DLL file... if you don't, well.... it won't work... k? If you haven't figured it out yet, where to get the SDK files, go to www.activeworlds.com/sdk/ Roland Vilett has done his utmost to make these pages as understandable as possible....
