I have a question...is there a certain programming language like VB or C++
that you need to use to make bots? I was going to try to find a programming
class for it because I'd like to learn to make my own bots instead of be
stuck to going through confusing scripting and figuring out how to work
hamfons and xellys. I know programming is confusing too but I think it would
help if I can use the language(s) bots can be made in so I'll better
understand how the scripts work and how the bots do too.

The AW SDK is available for the following languages, in order of my
memorys memorization :o)

Visual Basic - MrGrimm's AwSdkOcx
Delphi - Canopus' AWAPI unit
C/C++ - see the official SDK site :P
Java (i think) - not sure about this one

If you go for it: welcome to the world of AW SDK programming :o) .. may
your bots be good ones

Thanks for all the places. I've known that C++ and C were supported by the
SDK, though I have a friend who knows VB so he could help me if I got
that...but just wondering...since they're all different languages are any of
them harder than the other? I'm interested in Delphi too because I've heard
thats a good one...also I need to know how much the software is.

C/C++ is difficult..
Delphi (aka Obj. Pascal) is easy to learn like VB.

C/++ is, as the letter states, "complex", "crazy", and so on. This is
actually not true... C just comes because it came after B. However, it has
been known to be pretty hard. It isn't that hard, but you do need to get the
swing of it, so to speak. I'd say *all* the other languages are easier, but
C/++ is MUCH more capable, much more powerful, and will help you if you ever
seriously go into the field of programming. Also, I often give free
beginner-level C/++ lessons if you'd like them...

All other languages are harder?

I wonder if one can write bots in Assembly ;-)

yikes! And if you ever should pick C/C++ I'd lay much weight on C++, it's
the best of the two.

You've got a point, though by "I'd say *all* the other languages are easier"
I meant Delphi/VB/Java/Didn't-they-try-one-for-perl?

I know ;-)

Anyways they did try one for Perl? I cannot see how it could work, but if
there is one, I want it NOW!
