i just want something besides hambot! <8^)

well what can they do?
the only real bots i've seen are hambots (exspecially in $vegas$)
sorry, i'm not to good with these things <8^)

greet, say goodbye, log chat, talk with others, provide info, build, the
list goes on and on. It can do almost anything a citizen can do. Im even
working on a bot that uses queries to generate a 3D image of what is
around it, sort of the aw browser, but for bots. only problem is using
graphics, which is a pain in Windows. apparently there is no way to
directly manipulate pixels of the screen, so im stuck with some twisted
maze of documentation on grpahics.

well, i just want one that's more lik a citisen that you can talk to, hambot
is too boring and i know nothing about programming this thing, took forever
to edit a script for hambot <8^)

i want one that can talk like a real person like the one the one in mandalay
(doesnt have to be that good, just as good as you can make) thanx <8^)

One of the things I am thinking of doing is adding a class that reads in a
chat.ini file that contains

chat | Response
chat | Response

type formatting. That way you can set up a conversation sequence. For a real
greeter bot you are ask questions and based on the area that the visitor is
interested in you can give a canned response.

Though, kingben, this is what HamBot does. You can really do some fabulous
things with the HamBot language.
