Xelagot server.....av99bot (Bots)
Xelagot server.....av99bot // BotsbrandonMar 10, 2001, 7:20pm
i just got the Xelagot stand-alone server and av99bot so i could set up more
then 3 bots since i got 2 more citenships with my world. I have looked on the help pages for both and for osmereason when i try to log on 1 bot in av99 it says acting password invalid. SOme places where it says password im not sure if that means ppw or server password or what. Im not sure what to put when you add a client ether. j b e l lMar 11, 2001, 12:51am
for the ppw put a ? in front of it so if your ppw is banana put ?banana and
the client info doesn't need to be filled out unless you have that server.. av99bot isn't really a server.. -- news://awjbell.com -- J B E L L http://platinum.awjbell.com G O I N G P L A T I N U M [View Quote] xelagMar 12, 2001, 8:37am
Hi Brandon,
to run more than 3 bots in an Av99bot application, you don't need the server. Just follow the instructions on how to set up the ini file. As j b e l l says, if your PRIVILEGE password in AW is banana, put ?banana in the ini file, and leave the ClientXXX fields unfilled. If you want to set up a xelagot server, you can try that once you are familiar with your bot. A simple example: [Bot1] BotName=Squirt Profile= UniverseName=ActiveWorlds World=xelagon Location=1.932n 2.982w 22.90a 240.0 Avatar=30 CitizenNumber=289499 PrivilegePassword=?banana CitizenName=Brandon Owners=289499,299724,299728 [View Quote] xelagMar 12, 2001, 8:43am
and if the universe is not AW, for example, if it is Vectorscape, use the
data of the Vectorscape browser: [Bot1] BotName=Squirt Profile= UniverseName=VectorScape Host=universe01.vectorscape.net Port=0 ....etc [View Quote] |
