Hey everyone,

The annual building contest is being set up once again for July in
AWUnivAB world. The contest will take place on July 25th and will go for
approximately 3 weeks before judging on August 20th. Applications will
be open starting July 15th for those who are interested and for those
wanting to know, here is how the layout will be in world for the contest:

Lots will be 6x6 H scale (that's 6 walk001h.rwx by 6 walk001h.rwx). The
world cell limit will be set to MEGA for everyone and V4 objects will
also be allowed! Keep in mind that while these objects will be allowed,
there will also be rules that apply to them as well as the rest of the
contest (see: http://www.awcommunity.org/awu/awunivab/abrules.htm).

This July's contest theme will be: *world landmarks*
(this can be anything from stadiums, ballparks, statues, buildings,
museums, sculptures, etc. As long as it is a documented world landmark)

Oh, great, thanks for ruining a chance for people to participate in a
challenge I proposed earlier. ;)

Not really (as the concept of offering some challenges just practically died
out anyway), but that contest does sounds like a good contest to check out.
I'll look forward to checking out what people made in this contest. Just be
sure to make contest judges anti-bribable. Nobody want a VIRTUAL Abramoff
scandal if you know what I mean. ;)

Heh.. well the dates have been on the webpage for a few years now since
it was restarted. You should join the contest ;) Judges will not be
announced and all object click rights will be turned off after the
contest so that the builds are not labelled by name, but numbered. This
makes the contests more fair, as the judges are to agree to a
"non-personal judgement" basis anyways :)

Hi everyone - contest applications are now open for anyone that wants
to participate in the contest on July 25th. Make sure to get in your
applications by that date though.
