Personally I find this new ver4.1 telegram crap a pain in the butt.

And, the reason why is that someone can flame you, then revolk your
priveledge to reply in kind in a moments notice. Not only can they piss you
off, but they can rebuke you as well... doubly pissing you off with no means
to retaliate, no means to ammend, no means to do a darn thing. You can't
make up, fess up, or make it worse. You're just **** out of luck period.
Doesn't matter how much you love or hate the person... its absolute.

I think it sucks.

same in 3.6 - they send....they block you...you cannot respond

Well, I have discovered that no matter how much you like a person, once they
have blocked you in AW, you are blocked period. There is no apparent way to
make ammends, whether they were right or wrong for thier actions. So thusly,
I also discovered that IF their actions were faked for comercial reasons...
which seems to be absolutely accepted by the community. Don't understand it?
Neither do I.... we don't have enough capital to grasp it!

well...I say....if they want to block me, cool....life goes on....more fish
in the sea, more birds in the sky LOL

Sooner or later they unblock you because they calmed down (which, time-out
is sometimes a good idea)....or if you stay blocked, well, no need of that
kind of friend anyway....such is life

No one can make u feel anything. If u choose to be pissed of then u will be.
But u can also choose to not let them have that power over u and take
controll of your own feelings and choose to go one about your life.

It was supposed to help against harassment, not make it harder to mute and block and hide.

The new features were actually a late addition, so there was not much time to test them thoroughly.
Especially since there was not that much real harassing happening among the beta testers :p

I think its sad that people just can't be nice to each other to begin with.
It really accomplishes nothing to provoke, harass etc another person, except
hurt feelings and sometimes hatred. And there is definitely too much of that
in the world as is.

Sorry, But we ARE responsible for how we cause others to feel by results of our
own actions/words. But it is also within our own power to remove ourselves from
future abuse by blocking people/abuse. I do not agree that people should be
given an excuse to abuse others through their words by blaming the victim. We
are not alone on this earth. Our words have a great effect for the good or the
bad. We do affect each other and it is our responsibility to own up to the
results of our actions/words. Too many people in this world today want to blame
the victim, instead of the person who caused the difficulty.
