Multiple Avatars Using One Bot Session? (Bots)
Multiple Avatars Using One Bot Session? // BotsbuilderzFeb 23, 2001, 7:47pm
Has anyone figured out a way to create and control multiple avatars (in
Visual Basic or C++) that count as only ONE bot against your bot limit? This could be used to create and control a flock of birds or a group of deer or other animals. Sado's DeerBot could do this, but each animal/avatar had to be logged in separately, going against your bot limit. I am also aware of ImaBot's BirdBot (located at http://www.imabot.com/birdbot.htm), but I am looking for a bot with more control. 1.) Make an avatar thats really multi what ever you want.
2.) Have the bot make and update normal objects. 3.) 1 avatar = 1 bot limit... ~Joeman [View Quote] andrasFeb 23, 2001, 8:04pm
I did not figure out a way to have multiple bots under one "bot usage". And trust me - I tried :) Just in AWSpades we have 80 bots worst case!
I would LOVE to have that knowledge!!! One would offer to move the birds/animals as objects but it is too much of a server/network load IMO. Andras [View Quote] builderzFeb 23, 2001, 10:52pm
Thanks for your quick reply and insight, Andras. A maximum of 80 bots in
AWSpades...geez. Hehe. If you ever DO find out, would you please let me know? ;) Builderz Stuff-X - Bot & World Hosting Services http://www.stuffx.com/aw/ [View Quote] lanezeriFeb 26, 2001, 12:05am
