I have a lil' experiment I'm working on.
Basically I want to remove ALL texure blurring on a specific object. I removed the filter (removetexturemode filter) and that helped some, but it's still slightly blurry. I also checked my ATI settings and disabled any override filtering there, but it's still slightly blurring the pixels...anyone know how to remove treatment all together? - Com sw comitDec 16, 2005, 7:09pm
Upon further testing maybe 'removetexturemode filter' didn't even do
anything o_O Is it even possible to disable the bilinear filter? It's auto enabled in AW3+, according to sources. [View Quote] mauzDec 16, 2005, 8:48pm

Yeah filter is always on since... 2000 :p Have you tried TextureMipmapState off?

Yes, it didn't help though. I'm trying to remove all image blurring on an
object made to accept sprite textures. When you blur a mask, like it's doing now, you get gradient masking along the edges which causes the ever-so-common masking bug (as the white and black blend together along the edges), making the edges of the leaves, for example, poke holes through other masks. If I could just find a way to disable the blurring I think I wouldn't get this problem, since the bug only occures for 1-99% transparencies. - Com [View Quote] |
