AW Citizen Info Page // CommunityseiyaJul 7, 2005, 5:24am
Hello guys, I have always thought it would be nice if you could click "view
home page" under a citizen's name and instead of getting a homepage you could get like a little information page that the cit fills out. Things such as age location hobbies, aw hobbies, aw businesses and such forth. Now we dont have any current feature that allows that, but that shouldn't necessarily stop us. I propose that someone with good webhosting and good web design skills can put together a site where you fill out stuff about yourself and then save the page to your "view website" option. You might ask, "what if we want them to see our website as well as our bio?" then have a section in the bio that introduces the website! I personally feel that it is something alot of people would want and it is something that I see in all sorts of chatrooms. And in time I believe also it would spread enough that a large percentage of citizens would have it on their "view website" option! Your comments? =) orbJul 7, 2005, 10:42am
I agree Seiya. Instant access to the truth. Yes ! Cut out the middle man,
or woman. Clever. Who woulda thunk. duskbatJul 7, 2005, 2:50pm

No he's being protective of innocent people. Seiya is a wacko who gets a
joy out of hurting people. jermeJul 8, 2005, 2:41am
Setting up a whole site just to bash Seiya seems a little wacko/obsessed
in itself, don't 'ca think? I mean, it's one thing to warn people if you really think Seiya is such a "wacko"... that's your opinion. But its another to maintain a totally derogatory site about someone, despite who/what you think they are. It's a little over the top (just a bit....), unnecessary, and frankly pretty rude/disrespectful. It's great that you're trying to look out for people. With all the true "wackos" out on the internet these days, looking to prey on un-knowing children, and all the children be snatched in the news... it's good that you're blowing the whistle. But there's got to be a better way...... -J [View Quote] seiyaJul 8, 2005, 6:19am
Thanks for sticking up for me JerMe!
I find it funny how I devote all this time to building, innovation, and the AW community just to be an internet pervert, I am sure I could find a much easier less time and cost consuming way to do this, but oh well, nothing gets by you guys. Sorry some people are too weak to overcome their personal/emotional prejudices? ltbrentonJul 8, 2005, 7:47am
*ker-post*
I'm with Seiya on this. I was gonna post a huge load of text myself, but Seiya's post basically says the same thing. It's useful to use the KISS method when dealing with theories like this - Keep It Simple Stupid. And something like this would be far too difficult to pull off. And to what end? Everyone knows that paedophiles work the AOL chatrooms of the world. AW hasn't been touched. You know why? .... .... .... .... .... The average age of people on AW is about 35. Duskbat, watch it. Threads are bad in my opinion. Whole sites just make me sick. Seiya - I suggest you look up what you can do legally about these hate campaigns. They need to be stopped. -=LtB=- [View Quote] jermeJul 8, 2005, 11:53am
Just for the record, I wasn't really trying to stick up for you at all...
I'm not really interested in if what they have to say is true or not.... For all I know every word on that site might be correct.... My point was that whoever created that site has a major lack of self-respect, a lack of respect for others, and *way* too much free time. Here they are trying to say you are a wacko, but yet they seem to be obsessed with you and are acting more like stalkers who are just out to smear your name. Not very believable either way if you ask me.... If you want to warn your friends about someone you believe is dangerous, the way to do it is *not* stalking the person and setting up a site with whatever info you find dedicated to bashing the person. That's just really necessary and pointless. -J [View Quote] orbJul 8, 2005, 2:13pm
That's your opinion and you're entitled to it. Just as the rest of us are
entitled to ours who HAVE BEEN HURT. I'm posting for that very reason. I am witness to that monster's habits of preying on whoever , whenever they feel they can get away with it. There were multitudes of people who have been hurt by this beast. Something you say you have no knowledge of? I find it rare that you haven't been affected since you've been around AW a while considering your citnumber. Do you think that since Seiya HAS done what we're saying the innocent people deserve a fair warning at least? Heck I wish we had been warned in this manner far ahead of time so that so many would not have gone through the needless and lengthy suffering ! I'm never backing down !!!!!! ltbrentonJul 8, 2005, 3:54pm

Oh, please, that was a lame website. This is just a latest crap that
some of us have been fed up with. The thing is, people who made that website are pretty much wasting their time. In fact, I personally think that people who may have been victimized or know one who have are just doing it out of a personal revenge. I think you better leave these judgement to Activeworlds Inc. The fact is that Activeworlds Inc. reserves its right to suspend or ban any citizenship. Well, guess what? Activeworlds Inc. has decided not to suspend or ban her citizenship. I believe they have some extraordinary good reason to render that judgement. Basically what happened is that people here are trying to take the law into their hand (or something like that... cannot remember that particular quote) which is a foolish thing to achieve. Until then, Seiya is innocent until proven guilty, in which Activeworlds Inc. has apparently rendered its own judgement against those who clamors for her guilty verdict. If you don't know this, the decision-making process about who is to be banned or suspended is not taken lightly by Activeworlds Inc. Don't tell me that Activeworlds Inc. has made a flawed judgement. It may be but it is their final judgement to make, not yours. As far as I'm concerned, I have not seen any strong, concrete evidence that proves any of the alleged charges against Seiya. That may explain the Activeworlds Inc. judgement made earlier. I am not inclined to believe the accusations until a strong, concrete evidence can be made, which apparently has not occured in the past and today. The Activeworlds Inc. is your corporate version of a supreme court. The Activeworlds Inc.'s final judgement shall be respected. Sincerely, Legion [View Quote] seiyaJul 9, 2005, 5:50am
Honestly, if my "being here" gives people something to do in AW, then
technically I am helping out the community, so let them do as they wish, I dont care for the drama really, be it right or wrong. orbJul 9, 2005, 1:01pm
It's not helping anyone you moron. *sighs* What you do is negative even
though your initial attempts may have seemed positive to some innocent victims... it was all a front under multiple veils. You show your true self no matter how you mince your thoughts. sw chrisJul 11, 2005, 6:04am

I would say, and speaking objectively here, that if you haven't
intentionally hurt someone before, then you're perfectly right to be so indignant. [View Quote] |
