Storytelling bots? // Bots

A couple of questions here. While my world is down (forgot to renew on
time-ooops) I was wondering if there was a world I could take my bot to far
away from gz and see how certain scripts work?

Also, How long of a dialogue can I write for a script? The kind of stories
I'm talking about are like the Native American stories told around the
campfires, along with some of the ones I wrote. My world won't be up til
Tuesday morning, (when my payment to the credit card will show up) and was
wanting to kill this building and all boredom that set in. I'm also here a
lot now due to major lower back pains, so am really really looking to
working on this as I'm bored. Thanks a lot for your help.

you could make a simple HamBot script to do that

[View Quote] Feel free to use AW. It allows bot away from GZ.

you have to make them come in outside 30 coords from GZ, bots that don't
have any safeguard mechanisms are ejected for like 5 minutes ( I got that
prob once, with my own VB bot...)

Try copy+paste a story (not too long, or just in chunks) into the xelagots
chat input, and hit enter. Instead of saying just one line of text, the bot
will recite the text at a certain pace. It also works using the scripting
language, see my latest examples (iLabBooth2.txt) at
http://www.imatowns.com/xelagot/xlgasexamplesidx.html, look for how the the
keyword 'Laws' is treated.
