Ughh, I tried running my ati raedon xt at 580 core clock rate memory and 363
memory clock rate, run fine for awhile in aquamark. Then my whole pc just
blew out and went off, I can still turn the pc on, the neon light comes on
and the fans do thats all I can see working, as the monitor doesn't
recognize the pc to be working. Sucks now I have to get this fixed, it fried
something in there cause I could really smell the smoke. I never will do
that again.

Anyway gonna check back with the company to see if they can locate the
problem. No AW or games for me for awhile. >_<

Er..

This is indeed a REAL offtopic subject.. but uh, good luck. Hope you

Warranty is prolly void since it was overclocked though...if they have a way
of finding that out =X

The overclocking would be rather obvious, to me, since his entire computer has essentially burst into flames; at factory settings, I don't think video cards explode with such force on a regular basis.

You more than likely have blown many important things on motherboard, possibly even the power supply. The system is essentially screwed; with luck, maybe your hard drive survived.

most likley just the video card burned up
but it could have dammaged the motherboard too :/
have another video card you can try?

play dumb and say 'it wouldnt start one day" , so when they find out its the
videocard , and dont notice any burned spots , they will probbaly give you a
new one

There is no apparent damage to anything, something just smelt like smoke
which had to be the video card, even though there aren't any burnt spots or
anything on any parts of the computer. So it should be fine as far as no one
noticing.

My parent's computer once started smoking. Smells awful, lol. But it
worked just fine after a reboot ^_^
Only guess is that some of the resisters were burning, which can burn for a
little awhile before becoming inoperable.

Same thing happened to a friend I know.

My PC started burning once... still not sure why heh. I'm guessing it
shorted but I'm NOT sure how. Smelled horrible and my mom came running lmao.
