Hello All,

I'm not sure where to start. But lately I've been receiving e-mail that
seems to be 'Carbon Copied' to many of these newsgroup members.

It seems that this *mailing group* is aimed at American Politics.

The most recent e-mail I have received from these individuals is
attached with a photo.

There are *no* options to unsubscribe from their little list and I have
never asked for e-mail from these people.

I will warn those here, that if I am to receive one more of these spam
e-mails to my inbox, I will be reporting those senders to their ISP for
spamming.

Yours Sincerely,
Samuël ML Lison

X_X *forgot to put this in previous post* the spam is annoying, but don't
you have a spam filter? :O

[View Quote] Of course I have a spam filter. In fact, my mail server filters spam etc
etc. But these are not really "SPAM" in the sense that it is people
trying to sell goods and flooding my e-mail. They are not something a
normal filter would pick up as they are like normal e-mails.

I could set up a *mail filter* to delete those messages automatically,
but that would still require me to download those messages to my PC
already and I don't even want to see them at all.

Best way in this case is to contact their ISP. I have not received
anymore e-mails from them since my warning, so stay tuned.

Yours Sincerely,
Samuël ML Lison

something without their permission its illegal.

I'm not selling a thing. Not making any money. I just choose to not be a
traitor to my president :o)

And you are a rude person to say "Why am I not surprised" as though you
know me at all. I've been supportive of you up until now. My opinion has
changed radically.

[View Quote] Well, it could be twofold. The client could have it's own copy while
the server would have it's own. Kind of like pop3, while leaving mail
on the server after you download it.

I have set back and watched the thread on this subject just to see where it
goes before I make my comment.
I was also one on that SPAM list.
Yes...SPAM list.

spam
Unsolicited e-mail, often of a commercial nature, sent indiscriminately to
multiple mailing lists, individuals, or newsgroups; junk e-mail.

tr.v. spammed, spam·ming, spams
1.. To send unsolicited e-mail to.
2.. To send (a message) indiscriminately to multiple mailing lists,
individuals, or newsgroups.

Now that we understand the definition of SPAM....lets look at what a person
can do about it:)

http://spam.abuse.net/

And that's all I have to say about this:)

Stop cussing. I don't care about anything right now except that my
president won the election. As for you and anyone who oposed him. Stop
your whining.

I don't even live in the US so why should I care if your president won or
not...
