I am an American. I love my country, but it is troubling to see such
attitudes here, and it is disappointing to find that the country has not
yet matured enough to be able to see anything outside of itself,
populated with so many narrow-minded citizens incapable of seeing beyond
their own backyard, who see the world as only existing in their nice
little bubble that they live in and refusing to see that there is much
more to the world. It is you Sharon who is being hateful with your
xenophobic attitudes about foreign cultures and beliefs. Not everyone
is going to think just the way that you do and you can't force them to
only think as you do, or to be silent about things that they believe in.
Sorry to burst your bubble Sharon, but the world does NOT revolve
around the United States of America. There are many, many more cultures
in the world, each deserving of it's own voice and place in the world.
