~John ============================= BBC Interviews Circle of Fire's lead developer Roland Vilett The BBC flew to San Francisco October 7th, 1998 to do a special television feature on Active Worlds. This program will be aired in the UK later this year. Part of an upcoming documentary on the future of Cyberspace, it will feature the ever popular Active Worlds virtual online community. The BBC crew spent the entire day interviewing COF's lead developer, Roland Vilett, as he gave them a tour and a history of Active Worlds. Roland, not used to the vast array of ligthing and camera equipment common to television studios, said "it was kind of hot" as he burned under the spotlights. The BBC is expected to go out to COF's main offices in Massachusetts later on this month to complete their interview on Active Worlds. johnfApr 3, 2004, 12:05pm

Do you have the exact URL to that site from Archive.org, John? If so,
what is it? It is good that AW got some great coverage back in 1998, but it is 2004 now and AWI needs to get the word out. If something different isn't done, then you end up with the same result and change does not take place. In other words, reporters, editors, etc. won't be knocking on AWI's door unless they do something to initiate the contact in the first place. Builderz http://www.3dhost.net johnfApr 3, 2004, 4:47pm
