I think that if Wiz bought the domain with the word CY in it without AWI's
consent that he be violating AWI's copyright. Now they may not have cared
or known that he was the one who bought that domain. But I think it would
be the same type of situation if some one made a female avatar and called it
CYrina or something. Would have to have permission from AWI to do that in
my opinion.

Well not wishing to increase confusion and despere.

The name cyaward is assocated in the real world with the scout movment for:

These awards are given to Scouts who have met requirements that involve
progressively more participation in Yawgoog's activities, beginning with the
Bronze, then the Gold, and finally the Silver Camper of Yawgoog Award.

so CY is the camp and the award are known as CYawards

Now as this camp was formed in 1916 if anything they have the write to use
this name..

Tricky dicky eh?

Founded in 1916 as "A Scout Adventureland Forever," Camp Yawgoog is situated
on 1,800 acres of beautiful wilderness in Rhode Island. Yawgoog is divided
into three separate Camps, each with its own traditions – a color, songs and
cheers: Three Point, Medicine Bow and Sandy Beach.

In the Scout awards, CY is short for Camper of Yawgoog, and is not the
name of a single award, simply a collective name for awards given at
Camper of Yawgoog.

In the Cy Young Award, it is named after "Cy" Denton True Young,
baseball pitcher, born in 1890, see
http://memory.loc.gov/ammem/today/aug06.html

Both may growl at you if you try to trademark it :)

And you have the Cy Curtis Award:

Well, finished Googling, giggle!

Wonder how/why AW named these awards Cy? Is it because of the ugly Cy
(baseball) avatar?
