hey. now what you are tring to do is very noble but most of us also went
through this stage (thou we never wrote as many posts) and we also tried
changing things. but sooner or later we all began to reliese that these
things are done for the best and we all just lived with it.now maybe if when
something happens, you would sit down and thing about it, or think about
what would happen if things were diffrent, then you would begin to
understand how much better it is like this. now how about putting all your
energy into gathering resources on to why tourists should be allowed into
the worlds. :)

inhumane conditions. I have a responsibility to speak out against the bad
treatment that happens here. And it is true, it is evil human treatment.
Attacks happen here every day in one form or another. Injustice happens
here. But my shield is stronger than the piercing words or vulgar actions

what exactly is it you think you're accomplishing by posting loads of CRAP
to these newsgroups?! get out, dammit! jesus god! you sound like an
anti-government protester - this IS VR! get over things, letting this become
too "REAL" isn't good for you! or anyone! if anything - send these as emails
to AWI (which i'm sure you do, anyway) and keep it out of here, you're doing
nothing other than pissing people off, and by doing such do you REALLY think
you're going to have a lot of people on your side rioting AWI over such

Most of the AW old-timers know that AWI is not one for change by community demand. What you're doing is noble, but you need to realize that most of what you're doing has been done before, and rehashing it won't have much of an effect.

I did what had to be done, (from my telegram solicitations of voting to
recent newsgroup postings quoting scripture), knowing very well ahead of
time that I would probably be crucified in this newsgroup. Regardless, I
know in my heart I have done the right thing-I have faith and am praying
that it will bring about change for the better, and that good will prevail
over evil.

No one is crucifying you, Lady. All we ask is that you don't flood the newsgroups. It's good that you're trying to bring about change, but spamming the newsgroups will only turn people against your cause. Posting five or six new threads in less than an hour, all consisting of vague outcries with no support at all, will only irritate people. If you want to rally the newsgroup denizens to your cause, then you're going to have to convince us that something needs to be done. Don't just stand up on a podium and say, for example, "The government is evil! Down with the government!". Tell us *why* the government is evil, and what you think should be done to rectify that. Otherwise, you're just blowing smoke.

Lady, you don't know evil. If you think that what's going on in AW and in
these newsgroups is evil, you're in for a big surprise. Dropping poison gas
on innocent people is evil. Slaughtering Jews is evil. Crashing airliners
full of innocent people into buildings full of innocent people is evil.
Not letting you post in the beta newsgroup is not evil. Not letting tourists
into Alphaworld is not evil. An old fashioned flame war isn't evil.

or another. It hasn't just happened to me.
I don't agree with what you say about "how much better it is like this". No
it is not. It is a very humbling life changing experience, but too much of
it hinders everything from the way we relate to each other to what we will

I'm curious Lady...
When you post something, WHY do you srtart a WHOLE NEW THREAD just to add
more to what you said in a previous post in a DIFFERENT thread???? I'm
referring to the "More Comments" and "Comments - More" threads. I've always
thought the etiquette of newsgroup posting was to keep posts relating to a
thread CONFINED to that particular thread and NOT use someone else's post
(such as swe's in the above case as he has yet to post in this thread I
might add) as a reason to start a NEW thread simply because the old one just
became to unbearable to read.
It'd be one thing IF you were to add a comment or two and then move on to
allow your post to cover something else completely different (such as I did
in my last post in the STUMPER ALERT thread which I started when I went on
to ask a couple math questions), but all I've seen from YOU is the same ol'
same ol' BLATHERINGS over and over again like a broken record. As it stands
now, you have (at least) THREE threads which basically cover THE SAME
THING!!!
Have you EVER thought of CONSOLIDATING your posts into ONE thread??? At
least mrbruce got the clue or he'd have had AT LEAST two more threads posted
by now. Perhaps you should follow his cue. You could learn a thing or two
from him.
