For your information,

I have pulled down my world xelagon in the ActiveWorlds universe,
removed my bots from there and suspended all services to AW until the
following situation gets fixed:

A new world name has appeared next to my world xelagon. This trial
world is called XelaGsuX, wich I condider very offensive, since my
name in AW is XelaG. ActiveWorlds refuses to pull this world down.

I have notified my decision to AW, and also state that I am
considering cancelling my citizenships and world unless they remove
this offensive name.

I will continue to give support to xelagot custommers outside AW.

Someone here in the universe doesn't appreciate good bot making and friendly

Surely this must be an decision error on the part of someone at AW.

Personal attacks are not allowed in the NG's and should not be allowed with
a world name. AW please remove it and/or have the world owner change the
name...period, end of story, enough said.

*fingers crossed that this is quickly taken care of as this thread will soon
turn ugly if not*

He has a right to have that world, too, XelaG. The world doesn't revolve around
you. Cancel your citizenships and worlds. I'm sure it would be easier.

Childish people like you that believe it's your right to be a pain are what causes this.

yeah... and it could be a purchased world, like USWFSUX that appeared over a
month ago... when I asked the owner (I'm USWF staff) why he didn't like the
USWF and tryed to make the best out of it, by getting him to tell me what
was wrong and so we could fix it and the world taken down... but obviously
this person doesn't like listening to reason... replyed in a rather rude
way... I hope the AWC will take down both worlds. Also, noone reviews the
names when worlds are purchased, wich is bad and allows this to happen
-(( I hope the world gets removed quickly, if you left it would make a huge
hole in the community, especially the bot community :-((((((

and i bet if someone made a world name BlacksSuK
or WhitesSuK theyd remove it with no questioins
asked (Hopefully if not they really are just in it
for the little money they actually get)

remove this one then more and more people will
start making worlds like this

Wouldn't this be grounds for a lawsuit now adays? Defamation of character?
Or is it libel? Either will suffice. Not against AWCom, mind you, but
against the world owner.

WTG Xelag, you go get em, LOL That kind of abuse is totally uncalled for and
AW.com needs to follow their own rules and remove that form of it. I agree with
you 100%. Would they be so leinent if the world was XelagFukU, I would hope not,
they need to remove any offensive worlds like that, I see no difference in that
and the name they chose.

I am glad that the problem is resolved, yet, I don't think it was a fair
solution to the problem. I think that everyone should have the right to
name their own world whatever they choose, as long as it's not vulgar. If
they are going to pay the money to have the world, or use their one-time
trial world, they should be able to choose the name. People should be
permitted to have opinions about other people, and be able to voice them.
It may be offensive to you, Xela, but you could think on the bright side
and be flattered that someone wasted the only world they are every going to
own on you.

I am not trying to offend anyone, but I think that some sort of free speech
should exist on AW.

Also, does anyone think that if this happened to a different person, that AW
would do anything? I think if it were the Average Joe in this situation, AW
wouldn't do anything.

Yes, I think that since it's a violation of their tems of service they would
remove any world name that personally attacked any individual like that.

*sigh* I dont believe in total censorship but I do believe that there
are things that should not be let by. Even in the USA Constitution,
Freedom of Speech is not absolute freedom of speech, it is only the
freedom to speak out against the Government. Doing something like this
is called slander, and I think it is one of those civil crimes or
whatever... its not bad enough for cops but you can sue if you want.
