actually all this is because of a nuclear strike, even though the Internet
was designed to survive that in the first place anyway... no, you won't hear
it on the news, the US Government is keeping it secret...

Actually there were several outages (Europe was cut off too for a while). Maybe Code Red II works again? It still has 3 days before it restarts.
