Perhaps I may suggest the Foot of Goober King with Goober saliva sauce
wrapped in parchment with scrawl, a side of lip would go nicely with that...
also the chef has prepared a very trite chagrin salad with nuts - always
appropriate

Dear group,

I must apologize to any and all who have unexpectedly seen their posts =

unexpectedly also sucked a group of others with the word "CommunitY" =
along with it. This means that a bunch of what I am sure were fine and =

Alright already

Nov 12, 2002, 1:54pm
I do not expect to see any replies to this post.

Just so no one gets a shock - from now on I am automatically going to delete
all threads which focus on the following:

a. GOR
b. How much you hate GOR
c. Nudity and GOR
d. CY awards and GOR

I have only been actively monitoring this group for less than a week and
already I am sick of trudging through an seemingly endless morass
of who-hates-who. This is supposed to be a community newsgroup. It is not
a GOR chat. Most of what I am reading is just fanning the
flames. You are keeping a topic which most of you say you find distasteful
very much alive.

If you are having trouble with abuse by anyone in AW the proper place to
lodge a complaint is abuse at activeworlds.com

If on the other hand you are going into worlds that you find distasteful
then don't. Actively Ignore Them. We all have radios and tvs... does
everything that is broadcast to them meeting your personal
moral/ethic/entertainment values? If they don't you turn them off, and you
tell your kids not to watch them. But the tv listing still shows them and
the stations and shows still are there.

We are taking steps so that 3.4 will address many of your concerns. You will
no longer be "surprised" by world content and if you are...
you can report it. You can also lock your rating so that no one else that
uses your computer can easily change it.

Please make it a community newsgroup or we will be forced to shut it down.

Thank you

ENZO

Alright already

Nov 12, 2002, 5:58pm
I have deleted the post titled ENOZ

Send the reports to abuse at activeworlds.com Myssie. IF anyone is really
being harrassed it will be taken care of it. I personally waded through a
similar complaint several weeks ago. The result of reading 24 pages of chat
logs was that I realized the complaintant just kept asking the other person
incriminating questions in order to get answers to use as evidence to send
to me. If anything the complaintant was saying "Gor" more than anyone else
in the log. I certainly cannot act on that.

Anyone who has abuse please send it to abuse at activeworlds.com IF you do not
get an answer within 48 hours please feel free to resend and cc me (
enzo at activeworlds.com ) Please include the relevant logs

Thank you

new face cam in AW 3.4

Nov 19, 2002, 12:06pm
Releasing a version means to do a research version then alpha then closed
beta then beta then release, following the release there are almost
certainly patches.

If we only add a few features to a version we end up repeating the entire
cycle many times over to get the same end result. In other words 3.4 done
the way it has been will take probably > 60% less time to final release than
doing 3.4 in bits and pieces. To add 1 feature into a beta version might
take 2 weeks, to add it after 3.4 is released would take a minimum of 5
weeks. It is frustrating, but since everyone insists on using different
hardware/software configurations that's the way it is. ;)

Sorry

Hey guys,

Here is a movie taken in NewAW. It is 25 megs cuz I don't know the first =
thing about WMV encoder. It's also a little choppy so if you have a =
slow connection wait for the reviews before downloading. =20

http://objects.activeworlds.com/newbuild/images/flyover5.wmv

Some of the things you will see are the new camera angles, the seqs =
attached to different environments such as flying, swimming, running - =
the seqs also have sounds linked to them. Then we go for a flyover of =
some of NewAW using the UberJetpack from Acme, it's really fast... the =
first couple of times I hit trees :) we go for a swim and then fly to =
the mountains where I get altitude sickness...
