Are you going to make me search for a url or sumpin?:)

Teleportation - Flitting all over the place?

Aug 8, 2002, 11:40pm
Wow...you just got me to thinking......
Imagine what they could do in medicine if this were possible!
Cancer cells could be identified...located...then transported out of the
infected body!

Now Dion....please don't tell me you would have laughed at Columbus when he
said the world wasn't flat:)

Anything is possible...eventually.

Teleportation - Flitting all over the place?

You'd have to hold the person completely still. The only place this would
be possible is probably in space so gravity doesn't affect it (you're in
free fall in space).

What about vacumn tube thingys?

You can't make this stuff up...

Hey Wizard:)

Did I miss a post or something?
From what I saw, the person who threw the first stone was Linn in her
comment "and the snake arises i knew you would" (following Just In's
post)?

Cy Resignation

Aug 30, 2002, 5:51pm
Dear Activeworlds Community,

Well.....after 4 plus years and I lost count of how many rounds of the
Cy Awards....I need to resign completely.
IRL has taken alot of my time now...soooo much to do...so little time!
You all have been most wonderful in your great support of your Cy
Awards. I can't thank you enough:)
Mountain Myst (as you have probably figured out already) has stepped in
to handle things this round, along with our talented Cy Team:)
This coming round promises to be the best ever (as each ceremony is) :)
Please check out the Cy calender at www.awcommunity.org/cyawards for
updated info on the Cys.
And any questions can be asked there or emailed to
cyawards at awcommunity.org
Good luck to all the Nominees!
Once again...thank you....and I'll be seeing you at the Cys!
CYs are CommunitY:)

Sincerely,
Forever in awe at all you folks do!:)
AlphaBit Phalpha

p.s. I have appropriately named a small community town we are building "The
Cy Pastures" hehehe:)
If any of you are interested in having a home there, please contact me or
Weebo or Cyberwitch. As soon as we get enough homes built we are planning a
round robin party.....should be great fun!

Well that sucks:(
Anyways...here's another little site for price comparisons I use...
www.pricewatch.com
I don't stand behind any of these sites unless I have purchased from them
before.
My monitor I purchased a few years back at a great price from
www.computergeeks.com and have had no problems other than it's damage moving
halfway across America a few times.....LOL

Goobs...if he thinks anyone will come forward and pay the asking price then
he's a little empty in the cellar:)
The issue now is the way he and other squatters take advantage of consumers.
And it has to stop:)
I am not giving up myself.
Even if we don't get awnews.com back, I am going to make sure that my
complaints go to the right places so that people in the future will
hopefully be forewarned of companies like this practices.
The fact that he accused me of being a spammer and also him retaliating by
raising the prices leaves one to wonder what exactly is going on.
He either retaliated in out right meanness....or boosted the price for a tax
write off...which IRS and the Federal Trade Commission would definitely
frown at.
If I end up in a one on one with this guy...so be it...like I have
mentioned...I have alot of time on my hands and enjoy sleuthing....LOL
I've been collecting pages of all the high prices that have been donated to
send to IRS.
Too much repetition going on for it not to be obvious to the authorities.

agencies.
And anything else I hear...but for now...I think I've shared enough =
links with folks so they can send emails also to the agencies or let it =
lay...their choice really:)

[View Quote] Oh.. I actually read "most" of the article on the url.

I quote:
"The "smiley face" has since become a staple of online communication,
allowing 12-year-old girls and corporate lawyers alike to punctuate their
messages with a quick symbol that says, "hey, I'm only joking."
Unquote:

Of course.. you leave off the nose, so that might mean your only partly
joking.
