Have set up a corona spectrum at awteen 3 648N 793E
This is to show that corona colours do not match html colours and that the
spectrum is lacking in orange blue and red, with majority in yellow, (light)
green and pink range.
Asking for others to look at and test these settings to see if they can get
better results.
Or have any idea why coronas do not match colours.

Good point about the range possibly being limited. l will have to
experiment with it some more. Though did you notice that the orange range,
did not match boards with same colours though?
Many of the orange html codes are yellow when used in coronas.
I would be interested to know what html codes you used to get a true orange
for example
And thanks. :)

1. Set up an automated crash report on browser as Second Life have in place.
Browser crashes, it automatically asks to locate crash file and sends it
off.
2. Security Settings:
A checkbox in settings, so a new contact has to be approved before being
added to personal contact list.
Would this not be a very useful feature that should be easy enough to
implement.
Same as for join/invite requests.
Or:
If a user is removed from contact list, then their corresponding link is
also removed.
As it is, if you have a blocked contact and remove their name from your
list, all blocks are nulified. Or otherwise stuck with yellow ? Not an
effective solution.
Msn has a 'block' list, so does Secondlife.
3. Text Window - Scalable text for vision impairead.

Why not? Second life has it. I have frequent crashes on two machines.

Wondering when the help files on website will be updated.
They are sadly insufficient and do not cover all aspects of new features and
in fact some entries would be just confusing to new users.
For example: Block chat on zones.
Only half the information is on webpage.
What actually happens is:
Text chat inside zone is blocked from outside zone.
Text chat outside zone is blocked from inside.
Inside zone chat is obvious as text is greyed and italicised.
Design, both graphical and backend of webpage with frames really is
outdated.
Also, broken links also on Awschool webpage.

Except for Public Speaker who has global.
Chat in zones cannot be blocked from PS either.

Is it possible to upload swf files instead of gifs?
Jun 1, 2005, 5:29am
I think there was a thread about the Awec webpage recently, stating how
outdated it looked. As a recently new member to AW who is reasonably tech
savvy, l was horrified to see such outdated production on these pages.
Surely they can do better, and one effective way would be to have a general
chat. Also more signage for ppl first entering. Too many times at GZ l have
witnessed disgusting behavior from tourists who come in for all the wrong
reasons. As a parent myself l wonder how many children are being exposed to
this. And sometimes GK's are not there to inform them as to correct
protocol, or they are overwhelmed. Or, as in another post, at times they are
ejecting ppl for very little reason at all.
A universal chat channel could benefit many new users, and it's not going to
change anything for established users that l can see who will continue to
communicate within the existing framework.

I have been having sessions of repeated crashes around certain high lag
areas in Alphapworld.
Hadn't reported as yet as is intemittant. Areas seem to resolve themselves
eventually after rebooting system and leaving site for few days.
This time l have crashed at least 6 consecutive times as soon as l tele to
coords. Given up.
Co Ords are Halloween build '05, Aw 8720S 291E
Does anyone know url for Andras(?) utility to truncate Drwatson log so l can
post up crash report.
Tried sending one from another crash yesterday, but is too long to send.
Please advise.

Block chat in zones.
Help pages do not reflect information correctly so to clarify:
Zones will block chat inside from outside zone, and outside from inside,
except for Public Speaker who has global.
Chat inside zone is greyed and italicised when 'block chat' is checked in
zone.

Yes, seems to be Strike, as they are local not serverside. :\
Bots also can see all chat in private zones.
