this is from Jetta
Hi Ciena, I see where the usual bashing is going on. I have no intention of
entering that snakepit, but would you please post this for me. Thanks, Jet
I see the usual hatreds and jealousies and general overall bashing coming
through in the NG :o) Let me clarify a few points here. America does not get
a free ride. I too pay for my world on a monthly basis. However, due to
health issues some complications have arisen and I have made an
accomidation. I'm not going into the details of my business relationship
with AW...Its just simply in no ones business. I have informed my associates
in America of what is going on and will only discuss one small part of it in
here. I wanted to make sure that America would continue to run in the event
of my death or incapication. Ideally, it would have been great to have the
AB s take over America and run it. However, the monthly expenses of running
America are very high and very few ppl, I know, could afford it. As you are
well aware, group endeavors don't seem to work in here and I was unable to
get a group to take over the day to day running of and expenses of America.
As a consequence AW has agreed to take over America in the event of my death
or incapication. Until that time, I will continue to pay for America as I
have always done. The ABs will continue to run America on a day to day basis
and make the decisions as to allocation of building areas and all public
builds. Ciena will continue as CT as long as she desires. America has always
worked hand in glove with AW. Even going back to the 'good old' days of
Alphaworld and COF. American Builders started AWSchool. America's gz and the
Abs running the gz were the model of the present day Pks and Gate. America
was the first private world to offer open building and continues to do so.
Gotta admit that I have dumped many thousands of objects now and am not sure
exactly what is and isn't there and will be dumping many more thousands over
the next few months, but we offer a pretty complete selection of objects inc
luding sets from ancient Rome, Egypt, Medival, wild west, Civil War, Modern
Cities and ofcourse general natural objects and walls, doors ect.ect. Yes
some ppl have been banned from America...Two who are prominent in here and
proved themselves to be thieves are banned. One who has been published on
the front page of his hometown newpaper as being a pedophile has been
banned. Also one or two who have been trouble makers have been banned. I own
and run America as I see fit. If anyone wishes to build and chat and be part
of a community they are welcome. If they wish to antagonize or sexually
harass others they can go to one of the other worlds. I know my limitations
with a computer and don't claim to be that which I am not. But, there are
those in here who have always been jealous of and hated America and have
done everything in their power to destroy America. Got some news for ya...It
just ain't gonna happen. Jetta :o) Oh, one quick PS..PKs are welcome in
America and have the same rights and privs as they do in AW.

I have to agree with u LN. I used to do a lot of bday builds myself for ppl
i didnt even know also and never did i ever think there was competition
going on. and when my bday came around and i saw all those builds from ppl i
didnt even know i was very grateful to them to be so nice to make my bday a
great one. and there was some beautiful builds. And i have met many people
that built at my site because i liked their build so much i wanted to meet
them and thank them personally. I dont have a lot of friends in aw becuase i
am so busy with my projects that i dont get out to GZ's and chat and meet
ppl. I'm not much of a chatter just a builder. And i really think its great
that people want to give to others like this. Keep up the great work bday
builders :) im sure u make others happy :)

I do not believe they are competing. And how can you even say that? You have
no idea whats in another persons heart.
It's kind of presumptious of you to say so. If you want to meet a careing
person you will meet them at Bday sites.
I love getting builds from someone I dont know. Because I know they care.
And why would they do it for compitition? Whats in it for them? They dont
win anything. Bday builds let a person get really creative. And personally I
love seeing all the great build ideas they have come up with. If you say
they are competing thats your opinion and you are entitled to your opinion
but dont knock others because of your opinions.

I just wanna say that i had a wonderful bday yesterday because the bday
builders cared. If it werent for them I would never have had any kind of
bday. I live alone and all my family lives out of town and some in another
state. I dont have a life because of my job hours so i really dont have any
rl friends. They spent a lot of time and work on the beautiful builds for me
and I didnt see anything that would suggest it was a competition. It was a
gift of careing. and I met a lot of them there and they were the nicest
people. I just wanna say Thanx guys and gals. You made my day! :) keep up
the good work! I'm sure others appreciate it like I did. You guys rock!
