so how old is this list ?


my PW was changed after this happened the first time
and this list lists the current PW not the old one.

The big deal for ne is that since my world was opened we have spent well
over $1000 on custom avatars and we dont want them " stolen "

and also there is the countless custom objects i have made for my world
which if i wanted them public domain i would have given them to Count
Dracula with the rest of the objects i donated.

another way is to > completely backup < the world and then get the world
host to perform a world reset which
will reset everything as if it was a new world, then you
can upload the prodump and atdump and leave out the
elevdump and you would have flat terrain.

but it's probly easier to use a bot lol

Just a quick question

anyone know anything about the way in which people
can be banned from worlds using the computer ID function ?

does every PC have a unique ID and if so how can AW
read this, iv'e only heard of this being done in AW
but it sounds like it would be a usefull feature for
things like forums etc.

that is ever so sad
loads of worlds benifited by getting Free Objects from Freebies, i know as
iv'e seen some of mine
in atleast 7 AW worlds and in another Universe.

Unfortunately most people just take and dont give, maybe Freebies should
have changed names and
charged $10 a year membership ?

Maybe have a free section and a Members section,
models could be uploaded via a script on the wbsite with a tick box to
show the donators preference for it to go into free or Members.
I think many would be happy to select Members when uploading knowing
they are helping to keep the world up and running.
Also donators could have free Membership.

some of the more basic models should be free but others like build sets and
more appealing models could go in the Members section and be like $2 each or
something ?
or maybe a yearly fee, whichever works best.


Yeah idealy AW should step in and help out as if it wasnt for Freebies and
other worlds like it
then users would be stuck with the generic AW Objects which in most eyes
leave a lot to be desired.

i think Count Dracular was in charge or Owned the world,
i havnt seen him in AW for some time now.


if you cant bring Freebie world back to life
then maybe start your own, so cits have access to free objects again ?

i use an escrow service for all my transactions
it garantees both sides of the transaction
fees for $600 = $25 which is normally split
so both parties pay half.
