The need for a moderated group is best explained by taking a casual look at
the many off-topic postings in other, non-moderated group. Often times,
disputes arise of personal nature or insults are thrown about with no care

There is no test or requirement as to how much of an AW citizen a person is
who wants to make a submission and participate. Any restrictions concerning
the contents of a post are intended to keep to the topic of AW, and are not
intended to restrict anyone's expression of opinions. Free speech exists
within the context of AW as a topic as defined in this charter. If the topic
is not about AW, forums other than news.activeworlds.com/community
newsgroup are probably more appropriate. Submissions unrelated to the AW
Community shall be rejected. Commercial advertisements unrelated to AW shall
be rejected; all personal ads shall be rejected. Submissions containing
ethnic slurs, or submissions intended to hurt any given race, religion,

individual posters will also be rejected. Attacks on AWCOM, its employees,
contractors or partners will be rejected.

When major changes to the charter are to be considered, an announcement will
be made on news.activeworlds.com/community newsgroup inviting interested
people to respond and thus participate via email. The role of the moderators
is to ensure the conditions of the charter are met by any submission to
news.activeworlds.com/community newsgroup. The moderators recognize that
they should be as unbiased and objective as is humanly possible.

Submissions are evaluated as to whether or not (1) they are on topic, (2)

news.activeworlds.com/community newsgroup should recognize the volunteer

and keep such issues in mind when considering whether or not a post or
deletion was made in a timely way. The moderators will also work among

A!!CT hates VWTV, some of VWTV's staff hates A!!CT. Simple. You should see
logs of the convo after this. Console messages (global) telling VWTV sucks
and swearing at me. Quite nice. Anyways stop posting in the thread...its
annoying and very low...most of the posts atleast.

Conspiricy theorys...the "anti-a!!ct" thing in our world went on for about
10 seconds. Now, if you want anti-something you should read the log of in
A!!CT apologising to bruce for the post. All i got was cussed at, ejected
and all VWTV got was flamed. Special regards to Starfleet and his constent
bashing.

apologizing to bruce for starting this thread which I don't think he even
noticed...

Do the accusations stop there... no - now by bruce VWTV is accused of
throwing an anti-a!!ct party and all of the sudden we have hackers who were
trying to shut down a!!ct during the time it crashed... *rolls eyes*

Look bruce I'm not sure what conflict you have with ep0ch and donations or
whatever but that's no reason to take out your anger on VWTV just because
ep0ch happens to work at our station.

I don't allow anti-a!!ct talk in VWTV nor have I since that last dispute we
had so long ago.. why you want to try and open old wounds and bring this all
back I don't understand...

I own VWTV in SM. Unfortunatly, I have done nothing to your worlds. I have
not touched them, and I have been ejected from them for some time. In SM we
were joking around with stuff, BUT noone there did anything to your worlds
(Besides taz). If you attempt to take legal action against me you will be
laughed out of the court..."Famous hacker Ep0ch did not hack A!!CT, but
instead set the server on fire!" now that would be great. But, i have not
done anything TO YOU OR YOUR WORLDS. I will ignore all future A!!CT topics
unless it pertains to me.

God damn, stop this hacking bulllshit! Nobody is spoofing your IP or any
such thing, nobody ever hacked your world. The only thing that happened was
that someone had fun compiling a list of OP passwords in the AW universe,
not specifically targeting you or your world.

Everything else is machination from your side. When you tried posting a
chat log, you tried to hide behind an alias, and when people checked the
headers to find out it was you, you deny it and say hackers posted it. GET
A GRIP!
