Interesting enough, I got a gram today from this guy... It's not so much
that I really care myself, it's just to show you all that if you decide to
donate, what kind of person your money is going to. I really doubt anyone
will donate, but just in case, it's a waste of your time and money.

The swearing was not my doing, so if your going to bug anyone about it, bug

"Walk-insidable" Movers

I think when 4.1 comes out, we should be able to create a mover which allows
it to be following it's own path (Like a train moving on it's track
preprogrammed) and have multiple users inside, able to walk around inside
it. I think this would be key for realism in Activeworlds. My question
about 4.1 movers and pre-programmed moving patterns is, how complicated can
they be? Is it possible to program a entire length of track in, with twists
and turns in it?

Maybe there should also be a "record" option, so the builder can actually
record a path, and that can be used by the auto-mover.

It seems complicated, but I think it would be that extra bit of realism that
ActiveWorlds needs to beat the competition and make transportation systems
more realistic.

Smooth zone transition

I noticed with the new 4.1 zones, that when you enter a zone that has
altered lighting, it just snaps in right away. Would it be possible to add
a transition period, in metres, so the browser will actually animate the
gradual change into the zone, based on the distence of the transition within
that zone.

I think it would really help ;)

SDK Developers : Pissed Off

I kind of think it's stupid to have that licence file.. Many 4.1 bots like
Magine's have SDK errors because of that licence file.. I can't get them to
create instances or login anymore.

I don't know much about programming but I really think a traditional SDK is
needed without any of the little annoying tricks and glitches they threw
into the mix.

'disable' arguement in move/rotate

I would like there to be a disable=duration command for the move and rotate
commnads, so the activate or bump can be disabled for a certain amount of
time after being clicked, so it can't be reclicked constantly (especially
when the global command is used) which ruins the experiance.

As you can see, what the people have done isn't really that bad, GKs
interperate things, deeper then you or I, they see things, as if life is
perfect, and everyone must talk about flowers and "good" things, however you
cant call it a chat world, without the real life: chat.

Recently in awteen I have built a area that has all the resorces of ground
zero, with some inspired building, scenery, music. As a addition, this
area's building space around it is free, its empty, nobody has build there
and filled it in, so come to awteen 1860n 2800w and enjoy music, scenery,
chat, and mabe build yourself a home :-)

M A T T seems like a commen AW word around here, hes been around a long
time, always wreaking havock in AW, always being banned.....but always
returning.
What is his obsession with AW and why AW?
What is his personal reasons for attcking this program?
I am posting this as an awareness thing, for those new to AW and for those
who forgot, every year M A T T looks for ways to get people to change their
emails addresses on thier cits to one he says to change it to. Please make
anyone you know aware of this, because it allows M A T T to retreave a
persons cit password in HIS email. Also he talks people into giving him
personal info promissing a world or another citizenship as a reward!
World owners you have the best means of making the new comers to AW aware of
M A T T and the tricks he plays on unsuspecting victums, please pass the
word on that M A T T is here!

Caribean themed party!

Why? TeenGate is having a caribean themed party, because TeenGate is one of
AW's party worlds and thats what we're all about!

When? Friday, March 5th, 2004

What Time? Around 10PM VRT (You may come earlier)

Who? The tourists and citizens of Active Worlds. Also, AWVR (Active Worlds
Virtual Radio) will be there to keep music pumping (that good modern
stuff!), Barman will serve beverages and snacks, and it will be something
fun to do in Active Worlds!

Anything else? Of coarse! We are hoping to have a game of trivia going on,
also the new chess board is installed and running in TeenGate (it will be
there 24/7).

We hope you can make it!!

Lost Friend

I heard this news from tunablues, he telegrammed me about a memorial build
for her. At first I couldn't remember her, but then I remember when I was
more of a newbie to AW, I used to keep her on my contacts list.

Truly, she was a huge inspiration to all of us, and, she will be in my
prayers for the next little while.

It is amazing how this program, Active Worlds, can bring everyone together
for such a long time, and then when they go, it affects so many people. It
seems nobody knows what they have, until it's gone.

I hope everyone who reads this message, telegrams tunablues, and gets the
cords in AW for her memorial, and I hope you all leave her something.

She spent the last few days of her life on AW, which truly amazes me, her
motivation, to keep fighting, and keep going, for as long as you can.

There is one less citizen in Active Worlds, one less user on the list, one
less person to laugh and smile with.

Goodbye Daphne, I never really knew you, but you still greatly affected the
AW community, which also affected me, and everyone else.

oh my god >_< stupid awteen! gese you eject-happy caretakers throwing your
power around and bugging Josh! you should be thanking him! he builds in
awteen and is dam good at it too! just because teens like to have fun
doesn't mean they need to be ejected? perhaps allen should step down as CT
if hes going to act like somebody's mother being all over-dramatic about
this and that. the reason awteen is here is so teens can feel relaxed and
feel like they have a little place to call their "own" but if you treat us
like we're just a bunch of in-mature brats how does that differ from hanging
out with a bunch of AW veterins talking about hoozle wazzle and wishy wash.
perhaps if we're going to eject people for "recomendations" then we should
call it AWYoungChildNotExposedToCoarseLaunguage
In my opinion, if Customs Aide doesn't have a problem with it, then I dont
have a problem with it.

I agree, I think that light radius should be turned back to 10-20 metres.
I've never noticed a problem with light lag in AW before, mostly just
coronas that are size 99999 X_X I think you should set a corona size
restriction if you really think it's that big a problem.. perhaps like 200
or something? But a light restriction.. nooo! Light really helps highlight
areas of a build!

3 metres just isn't adaquite enough, and some of my builds are wrecked as a
result =(
