I kind of think it's stupid to have that licence file.. Many 4.1 bots like
Magine's have SDK errors because of that licence file.. I can't get them to
create instances or login anymore.

I don't know much about programming but I really think a traditional SDK is
needed without any of the little annoying tricks and glitches they threw
into the mix.

Andras' Guardbot is a bot that can protect tourist builds completely,
including enroachment, modification, and deletion. It will be available for
download soon hopefully at www.andras.net (I am a beta tester)

I own the world TeenGate, and DayStar. currently is building a
paintball/capture the flag arena (Go to TeenGate and head east, and look up
to see it) and I need a bot to do the job!

argh yeah i want the new version to come out.. but for some reason everytime
someone mentions it i just feel like we're talking to a wall.. i mean, who
is actually going to update it? whos reading these posts? who even runs
imabot.com? >_< Faber used to run it but I havn't head of him for at least
a year now! would someone speak up and give us some news??

Thanks for disappointing me when you tried to make my bot.. You will never
be able to open a RPG because you can't model, can't build, and are
unsuccessful at making bots.

Interesting enough, I got a gram today from this guy... It's not so much
that I really care myself, it's just to show you all that if you decide to

Hey XelaG, can we expect to see a 4.1 X1 out soon? I really miss it.. I use
the X1 daily for stuff in AW and it's my favorite utility bot for doing
accurate backups and moving stuff around.

Any plans for it soon?

some stuff i would like to see in aw: (i may add junk)

1) members of AWI responding to people's telegrams, instead of ignoring
them -.-

2) clean up all the junk in alphaworld! if someone sends you cords to clean
something up well i would recommend you go do it, or at least put some trust
into some people that proove they can handle it, and then you can have
people to help that out, and then it will be nice and clean instead of
vandalized from like 1996 >_<

3) cheaper pricing, no wonder aw is loosing money, geesh

4) i agree greatly with CP's comment about attaching objects to people,
think of the wonders that could do

I think you should be able to have your blocking options stored, so you can
keep someone blocked *without* having them on your contact list! It is very
annoying because my contact list sometimes gets very full and it bothers me.

Is it really that hard for AW to donate a few kilobytes of extra memory on
each citizen for off-contact list blocking options?!

I think it would be a VVEERRYYY handy idea for the browser to set up a
multi-object path, it would be very simple to set up;
The user would enter the first domain OP into the regular object path field
in world options, then put a space or something, then the next path. The
browser would attempt to download whatever file from the first path, if
un-successful, it would search on the second, third, until successful, if
not, it would display the default object error messages.

The same could be done with object passwords for each of the paths,
seperated by a space or simply in seperate boxes.

This would avoid PHP scripts, ect, to accomplish this.

Well, the first path specified in that field would be the path which would
be the "first choice" so it would look there first, then take the failed
downloads from that path and search on the second path, it wouldn't cause
for the user to que the download box again, it would just keep trying until
successful or file not found anywhere.

I think we should be able to disallow rights to specific people if there is
a * in the rights box. Most world owners have to eject a person if they
abuse build/bot/speak rights, ect. This way, the rights can just be
disabled so they don't have to be completely kicked out of the world.

I noticed some worlds are using a bot to change world attributes from night
to day, and many stages inbetween, and AWGate even has one that updates the
light direction every 10 seconds! But I think it would be really cool to be
able to set up "flowing" time, so the sun moves smoothly as if it's a
rotating object with a corona on it, for example. It could be done like
this: Have "setpoints" to manually set up things like light direction,
direction texture, size, colours (anything to do with lighting) and then the
browser can calculate everything inbetween and slowly shade the sky colours
and move the sun. The setpoints idea would be particularly useful for going
from Night to Day (because the light texture would change, and possibly from
clouds to stars). I think this would really improve the activeworlds
technology and take it to a whole different level.

Please provide some feedback for me ;)

One more thing...

This should also have a place to enter how long each full "rotation" lasts.
So for real-time it would be 24 hours. If you wanted a full day/night cycle
to last for 1 hour, then it would be 1.
