Please do not crosspost. This does not belong in *checks* community,
general discussion, and worldbuilders. General discussion perhaps, but
if I were a moderator I would have deleted this post.

"One gains no amusement from this" is too long. "We are not amused" is
better. :)

The second part is ok as long as heads roll rofl

Strike Rapier doesn't even live in the US - what would he know about US
law? As for international law - I don't believe it is inforced in the
United States.

You do realize this is from someone who has hurt very many people in our
community, John?

E-mail I received this morning

Nov 1, 2003, 11:49am
Well, even so ..this sort of stuff really shouldn't be posted ..as it
does hurt people - specifically the ones slandered in the original email

Why not implement a chat filter that one can set ..let's say you don't
want to see a particular word in telegrams or chat ...you could tell AW
to filter it out...instead of being ejected for it. That way everyone
can be happy ...

Nov 30, 2003, 2:26am
At one time they had a page for that ..I think it was an address
at activeworlds.com ...but the place seems to be basically abandoned now.
If you really wanted a lot maybe you could email AWI?

Sounds like a psychological issue to me...

$70 a year sounds like a lot..
$2 a week sounds like very little

Yet, the $2 a week is more. From a teenager's perspective though, the
$2/week is easier to attain then $70/year.

So are the bank accounts and distributors a way for ActiveWorlds to market
their products in foreign countries without the hefty currency exchange? I
think that would boost business significantly..

AW does accept PayPal visit https://www.paybycash2.com/orders/awnoncheck.asp
and check the select payment option at the bottom...AW uses PayByCash for
non-credit card users (www.activeworlds.com/nocard)

I don't see why they shouldn't support doing PayPal directly...I have seen
several other internet products for sale which can be purchased through
PayPal and it appears to be a good service.

I'm guessing it's in all worlds that normally have a CA bot hosted by AWI.
