I think a LOT more people are liking towards Strike than what they are
towards you.
If you're so desperate for money, ask your parents or go get a job.. Only
reason I can think of as to why you don't already have a job is because your
under the legal working age..
I don't think anyone wants to pay for a service that is ran by a fourteen
year old, with no qualifications, and who attacks others personally when
they simply comment on how the name of your "company".
If anything, Strike was only really trying to point out that you don't want
to use the name Spiraware.. Even just saying it, it sounds too close to
Spyware.
If you take any advice from any of these posts or not, is up to you. But so
far, you have just failed to get a potentially promising client.
They have read and replied to your post. If you were maybe more
professional, you could have made quite a bit of cash by selling them a good
quality bot.. Doesn't look like that will happen now.

But you don't quite understand.. No offence on the age limits that may be
implied here, but;
A 14-year old saying that, he is going to "climb the ladder", who has no
previous education certified in any I.T subject, and no previous work
experience plans to run a major corporation?
Let alone, anyone can come along right now, register "SpiraWare" (no one
would actually pay money for a name like that), and sue the hell out of you
for trying to make money off that same name.
Wait until you get certs, a better grasp of programming, a higher sense of
maturity and above all, knowledge of how the real world works.
Just because you're programming for people and getting money doesn't mean it
is a "internet job" and easier than anything else, like most believe. This
job is an actual job, just as much as working at McDonalds or the
International Stock Exchange is.
Selling people bots isn't going to get you anywhere. Most people like you,
also sharing your age group, do this as if they are playing a game of
"Shop".
Anyways, enough of me.. You will soon see that no one is interested in
you're bots, and that you are wasting your own time.
For $15-$20 I can go and pay a tiny bit extra and get a fully-educated
employee of a major company to program something that I have full
customization over, and I also get the source code with it, if I was
interested in modifying anything myself.

I think he's post is actually replying to LtBrenton for posting that
Strike's bot is just 'ineffecient' code.
It was me putting the big one on the kid. Which is only really because he
attacked every other person who replied to his initial post.
Oh well, as you said, it can only affect he's business, which apparently
(although proven wrong within the second post of his) he can run as good as
any corporate high-flyer.

You would need to download Alpha World Enhanced (AWE) from the website,
http://www.swcity.net/awe.htm - If the seq is custom-made and owned, you may
need to seek permission from the makers before ripping it into your own
world. :)

You really don't want to use that. It is not the new build (has many bugs),
and even if it was a newer build, it still is not the final -- Please don't

From what I see, and from my own experience with programming my bot in 4.1,
there is no documentation anywhere. It was all by my knowledge of previous
SDKs and whatnot. One or two problems that I had, I either asked Chris or
another bot developer.
I believe your looking at a weeks wait before you get the SDK, but it could
be as early as tomorrow.

From memory, they fixed the debug issues only after *some* citizens were
messing with memory addresses and doing all fancy kind of things, including
enabling object selection back in Stagecoach to check out the new object
properties.

If it helps,
Avatar 000 is default. So, if you add the new categories and don't have any
avatars before the first category, the category itself will be 000.
I guess that does mean that, yes, categories count as a number in those
terms.
Yet, in my world, the first avatar is the "Characters" category, which would
be avatar 000. So telling a bot to change to avatar 2, will be the second
_actual_avatar_ in my list. I prefer things this way.. First avatar being 1,
second being 2.. Not the 000, 001, 002.. way.
Confused?
My job is done.

You would rather have over 1, 000, 000 teleports on the uniserver? Some
machines hosting other universes cannot hold that much...What if the
bandwidth is limited?
Think about it.
Just back it up to a web site or server or something.
Making it server side is just a bad idea.

Beta should be public.
I also wish that AW pull their finger out.
Oct 17, 2002, 11:10pm
As you all know, in the current beta release of 3.4, there are such features
as textured clouds that can move.
Even though it is a weird and odd request, it would be nice for another sky
feature, a sun.
The sun would work the same way the sky does, by inputting a texture from
the object path and telling it how fast it should move. Or it could be set
to a certain number to move as the VR time changes.
Just a thought.

Do this:
Get a game trainer, select Active Worlds as the process, now search your
citnum as a string. Change all results to 1 and click help, about...What do
you know? Citizen number one. Now goto your citizen attributes, it looks up,
tells you are AWLD. Although when clicking OK it will give you error 32. 32
of course means UNAUTHORIZED. You can also look up other people's citizen
info. Although, it will give most of the stuff as yours or blank. Try
applying changes... Reason 32...

Well, if this was a feature, it would be saved in the Aworld.ini file, which
would be like

Hello.
Me and the rest of the company of Cyberox are interested in making a Mafia

3.4 features and allows tourists (Mafia world).
We are currently seeking the following people:
- Builders
- Object Modelers
- Art/Texture designers
- Programmers (C++, VB, Delphi)
- Beta testers (Highly suggested that you are using 3.4, although it is
not a requirment)
- Story writers.
If you can handle any position, please email xeroer at optusnet.com.au for more
