Wanna know what's funnier? That 10 dollar wheel mouse I spoke of comes with
a KEYBOARD as an accessory in the same box! ;)

Windows 98 / Me no longer supported

Jul 11, 2006, 10:00pm
Assuming you meet XP's minimum requirements, upgrading the OS will cost
about 90 dollars and some time and patience on your part.... or one of your
tech savvy friends time and patience. What part of the world do you live
in? Any Best Buys, Circuit City's Fry's Electronics, CompUSA's handy nearby?
Or, just goto amazon.com and look up XP Upgrade ... or hit www.newegg.com or
www.mwave.com

Slow movement

Jul 11, 2006, 10:02pm
Happens to me a lot.... but only when accessing a world on my server... it's
the same as the >GARBAGE< bug.... the server you logon to doesn't even see
you online(I've looked at my server durring these slow downs)... you are in
the world and viewing what you already have in your cache. If you stay long
enough, sometimes the server will recover and you'll be able to move
again.... but quicker to log and come back in a minute or two.

I'm Baack (And Need Some Help!)

You are missing a very important point... SL has been losing money for
years. As in they are not yet profitable. They have investors and they can
waste some money. Google it!

Same as Dish Network was for years... trying to drive a wedge between the
consumer and the cable companies... they ate the costs for a long time.

What do you think AW could do if they scores 8 million dollars in funding?
lol? Then got 11 million more?

Personally, I think E N Z O would quietly disappear on his boat one day and
never be seen again ;) after opening up an offshore account and buying a
non-virtual island somewhere down in the Caribbean.

about this person!? *sighs*

Renew World on website broken

Jul 19, 2006, 12:03am
I just attempted to renew Serene. I was going to go from p50 to p100, from 5
to 10 users, and allow tourists. I tried 3 times... each time it ignored my
changes and left it a p50, 5 user, and no tourists.

JFYI

Renew World on website broken

Jul 19, 2006, 10:25pm
ok, it worked this time. I see that my world server on the other machine
just updated the license correctly.

However, http://www.darkestdestiny.com/awrenew.jpg is what I saw after I
finished the transaction... used to reupdate and say Success... now it's
just blank.

Also, I have always received 2 emails after renewing or buying a new world.
The first email is the billing one from Skipjack, and the second email gives
you your world password and free user accounts and passwords for them. Since
I now have 5 user accounts with the p-100 world, instead of 3, it would be
nice to get that email. ;)

BTW, I still want my world to be P-120. That would be the exact size of the
island and some ocean area... that way I could actually finish the race
course.

JFYI :)
