LoL why dont you just use winzip self extracter and just have it extract the
files somewhere? Who needs to get fancy? And maybe extract start menu crap
to c:\documents and settings\all users\start menu\programs\AW Utility or
whatever..you get the idea..

There is a program to register ocx files. Most people on win2k are advanced
users (atleast it seems so) so you could include a registering program and
instructions if that is the case. Atleast for a temporary fix..I dont know
about installers very much so I cant give you help with that but if you used
winzip self extracter and a OCX register program included, that wouldn't be
to bad of an idea.

Put the people who are in the world, the newest said line in chat, and vrt
time on a sign? I know preston can do this but my preston doesn't seem to
keep it going for to long..freezes or stops. I am wondering if anyone has a
script that does something similar for Xelagot. If anyone has one maybe I
can trade and host a bot for you or something..thanks..

They show ips for a reason, either way you connect to a world, anyone could
get your ip using a simple command even if worlds didn't show it, stop being
so damn IP paranoid and get a god damn firewall.

Uh, only if you direct connect with someone can you get an IP, like a file
transfer in AW, or direct connect in aim, now in ICQ anyone on your contacts
list all their ips can be shown with many little ICQ hacks..Thats another
reason why I no longer use ICQ. Otherwise, AIM and AW are pretty IP safe
aslong as you dont allow file transfer and direct connects and only go in
worlds with owners you trust.

I didn't mention websites, I know you can get an IP from a website, lol, php
and all thats simple, I didn't mention that so how is it wrong? lol AIM
maybe you can get an IP from atleast wing says..but I have never been able
to get an IP unless it was direct connected..then its very simple to use
netstat, other wise all messages are through the server..and I am pretty
sure about that.

In aw3.1 when you get far away from a midi/mp3/wav it starts to fade out,
maybe on 3.2 it would be cool if you could set this distance in the command
but it would be limited in world options of course, or if maxed out, could
be used to play through the entire world. Such as create sound
www.blahblah.com/blah.mp3 distance=20 or distance=world for the whole world.
Just a idea.

LoL my school is like that....taking stuff apart and putting it together
isn't that hard to do but people think it is..lol..I bet I could teach
anyone how to build a computer within a day..it isn't that hard..as for
linux..its used for hacking sometimes..its also open source and has lot of
free programs..people use it..now I wouldn't say only high end users use it
like yes usually, but windows is just used by alot more people and people
are much more familier with it, if Linux became that popular, I am sure
everyone would know how to use it just like windows..because they learned
off it..its like that for anything..you can learn english and
spanish..spanish may seem alot harder to learn since your native language is
english, so, you get the idea...anyway thats just my thoughts on it..

Yah I really suppose rolands gona just change the way AW renders just so you
can take screen shots, lol..a little more logical thing would be a feature
to snap shot the 3d screen but your not going to get anything super high
quality. Also maybe this feature could take larger pictures like any size
you wanted it could resize the 3d scren take it then set it back but you
wouldn't be able to see it or something, that would be kinda cool, but I
doubt it'll be added, due to the fact taking pictures with print screen and
pasting it into PSP7 always worked perfectly for me.
