AWI funded worlds crush any citizen equivlenents usually. Its bad. I
completely agree with you there. I had to give up after a while, I just
couldn't compete. We need an RPG with a good bot. Wanna work on one?

Nah, their service is terrible. The connection speed is faster, and more
reliable, but dealing with comcast kills the whole thing.

Well, you don't steal anything if you aren't somewhat socially retarded or
otherwise insane, so wisdom doesn't really make a difference. The problem is
that a lot of people believe all in 'folk psychology' which has no evidence
backing any of it at all, while real psychology goes known by few, even
though it has more evidence then any folk psychology. You are more correct.
Some people understand stealing as wrong, while others are socially retarded
and don't understand that it is wrong. Why do you think people can kill
hundreds of thousands of people, or rape 8 year olds? They don't understand
that these things are wrong. Many of the people who steal and share music do
NOT know it is against the law. Others don't care that it is against the
law, which is social retardation (to a certain degree).
Oct 14, 2003, 10:41pm
Well... I don't mean to go against you or anything, but did you actually
copyright those textures?
--
-.Duo. (342836)
Oct 15, 2003, 7:28pm
Maybe I'm thinking of patents... but don't you have to register a copyright?
--
-.Duo. (342836)
Oct 15, 2003, 12:36am
Which is why the entire arguement was flawed. You couldn't have have been
breaking copyright laws truly unless all the textures and objects were
copyright, which they most likely weren't. Then again... if you or someone
agreed to a contract not to put the objects on a commercial OP, then someone
broke the contract... and that person can be sued as long as there is a
record of the contract being agreed upon.

TZ, it is very unfortuanate what happened to you. I don't think they have
enough evidence against you (unless the woman is crazy or they pay her off
to say that you 'bought' her). Don't worry if you can't hire someone to
defend you, the government is mandated to hire an attorney for you if you
can't afford one, otherwise it is not a fair trial.
Oh and Strike, don't be a rascist. US law happens to be one of the less
brutal ones. All law is unfair because it's all based on midieval psycology.
