Yeah but things are normal in the following:

After searching for hours to find a possible fix, I stumbled upon this file:

It works, Direct 3D 8 mode runs properly with that fix installed. Everyone
having the problem stated above please download and install the fix, take a system restore before doing so like i did, just to be sure. But i didn't need it anyway -Brock 2 problems with Direct X 8 mode.Jul 18, 2002, 5:53pm
I had the terrain flicker problem, but it was only in OpenGL

Hello. I am speaking about the recent yaha virus that has been spreading
like wildfire through activeworlds users. After trying Symantec's Norton Antivirus and McAfee's Antivirus program i have deemed it is impossible to delete this virus. Therefor i believe we may be dealing with a different variable or something of the sort, because the scanners can detect the virus, but can not repair it. Additional Note:
After using McAfee and Norton's fix tools, the tools seem to say they cannot find the virus on my machine, and after reinstalling Norton it still can't. I'll probally end up formatting my hard drive soon. Taking bets..Sep 7, 2002, 12:06pm
