Not round technically, but looking at it from space, yes.
Still doesn't answer the theory on the sky being lower.

In response to what Goober King was saying about screenshots, I
recommend using Hypersnap-DX which allows you to select certain
sections of a screen, for AW an example would be: Whisper screen, chat
screen, 3d screen, contacts etc screen and so on...
You can also choose to select and crop any screen you want with its
cool options...

Find the downloads here: www.hyperionics.com

You are saying that children these days are not breast fed?

It is not offensive material on my website, not the way I see it. That
picture is plain art which even children would see in a museum or
walking down the street passing a satue of a beautiful woman. Or even
a statue of a boy holding his penis and doing are piss. I don't know
what you see so offensive here. I've made the site specifically so
that any age can accidently bump into my site without seeing something
that would offend them in a way that it would alter their minds.

If someone doesn't like the site, they simply close it. If a parent
comes accross it and doesn't like it, they restrict it. I've listed my
site on the child protection programs, so that parents who do install
protection programs can choose to disable it or not. Even though, it
wasn't even rated as 18+ only.

I don't enslave women, lol. I don't mistreat others either, I look at
women in the highest respect, and I treat them in such as long as I
get that in return also. Goreans give girls that act in manners of
slaves, the title of slave. Technically put though, these women are
'submissive', I really wish people would stop getting them both
confused. Slavery is illegal in this day and age, at-least in my
country it is. These women wish to protray themselves as such, they
enjoy behaving in such manner, they enjoy showing their beauty in all
ways possible, to please the eyes of those interested. They enjoy
being controlled by men who can.

>Of course it's not offensive to you, you made it, and you partake in it.

If you are offended, place me on your killfiles, it is my way of life.
I would not go off at anyone for posting a link for their beliefs in
'god' and 'satan'. It is my way of life, I enjoy it, some call me a
fool, but they are seen as that in return.

Because I have every right to have my domain linked to my signature,
no matter which news servers I may be connected to; there are always
children on all parts of the internet. It is up to the parents to
disable sites that may for some reason offend them or are worried
about their children visiting.

Titanic was rated PG, I mean? What? You don't see the main actor
stripping completely nude and being drawn on paper as art? You don't
see the scene where they are having sex in the car, the windows fogged
up, her hand sliding down the window. What image does that give to
children? If they don't like it, they turn their heads to the side and
don't look at it. Or their parents say 'turn around' until the scene
has past?

Also, there is no indecent exposure on my domain.

I still don't see where people can get offended.
My signature has a link to my domain, so what. It doesn't even
remotely come close to having being rated 18 or over. If I wished it,
I could even add to my signature my world name, or better yet, go off
to the Community area and discuss about my paid world which happens to
be a Gor world. I would have every right to do so, as it's a part of
the ActiveWorlds community.

Now, on the other hand, if you wish for me to place a pop up text
window which opens as soon as you load the main page, that explains
that it is not recommended for a person under the age of 18 to enter
the site, then I would be happy to do that. It gives advance warning
that if they press "yes" they agree to what they have read, and if
they press "no", well, they can go off to disney land.

I will gladly place such a script on my site, but I will not change my
signature because some find it offensive.

I will not remove my signature, but I have added a warning message
script to the main page. That is all I will do on my part as a
compromise and to keep everyone happy.

Now, if I child enters, he/she does so knowing what they are going
into with plenty warning.

I know I don't have to do anything. I didn't change my signature, but
I did add that warning on my site as I was asked generously and wasn't
yelled at and cussed at and ordered to do something. It was
'explained' to me what exactly 'could' offend young and even older
children. After some discussing in the newsgroups I did realize that I
should at least put up a warning so that children are forewarned.

And I also thank Bowen and Strike Rapier for explaining to me all of
this in a nice way and keeping control of themselves through this
whole thread, it was a nice debate while it lasted :o)

As for you, bodhitah, I do not know you? Unless you have changed your

Yet there are female garbage truck drivers who enjoy their work, even
female construction workers. Also seen female body builders with huge
mussels. Ok, so you don't see a majority of them in those kinds of
jobs, but those that do it would mostly say "Hey, if a man can do it,
so can I", and they do.

All should be treated equally and paid equally no matter of sex or

Bug? ... You tell me...

Jul 23, 2002, 6:46am
Hi all,

I've just realized something... If you use the 'Page Up' and 'Page
Down' keys to look up and down, try holding down 'Page Up' till you're
looking all the way up, and then do 'Page Down' till you're looking
all the way down. Now, normally when look up and down you should see
the 'Center View' icon fade out when you're looking straight ahead...
It won't fade if you've looked all the way up or down anymore.

Bug? And does it happen to you all also?

Nope, I have no idea... But would like to take this time, although a
little late, to ask anyone if they know how to reduce processor usage
on a certain program?

I have Windows XP, so not sure if it's possible with its limited
functions compared to Pro and 2000...

I know I can set priorities for a program to low, but that doesn't
seem to reduce the cpu usage on AW... And if I set it to high, well it
almost pauses the thing.

Oh well, any ideas? I hate midi's going all crackly, I can only stop
it slightly by setting visibility right down, which doesn't fully fix
it... Also putting AW in the background, or making the chat area full
screen and barely any 3d left also fixes it. It's a pain, and
sometimes midi's and wavs are interesting when sitting around bored...

Object Request, or Help?

Jul 31, 2002, 4:37am
Hi all,

I'm wondering how I can make special animated Masks.
Any of you that have played Soldier of Fortune 2 in Jungle missions
and seen the long grass, that is the type of objects I'm trying to get
made. I wish for animated grass like that in the game, looks like it's
moving very slightly with the wind. The 3d trees they use are 3d
objects but the leaves are masks and are animated also to look as if
they were moving around slightly.

Anyone know how it can be done? Or anyone have those kinds of cool
objects already?

Thanks

Object Request, or Help?

I meant sprites, had forgotten their true name. You can't rotate
sprites as they face you all the time. These ones in the game are
animated. So I'm guessing, as has been said already, that I must
create a filmstrip of both the texture and the black and white
masking... This will be lots of work... I've made a simple mask:

http://www.anduin-lothario.com/object_path/textures/grass1.jpg
http://www.anduin-lothario.com/object_path/textures/grass1m.zip

It's grass, but to get that to animate 'smoothly' it would take a big
filmstrip, some of the blades would need to be moves slightly for
every strip... Would look good though... I'll try and make one, will
take time to get perfect though :-/

Thanks anyway all :o)
