Hi everyone:
[View Quote] [Snip...] Dark Mole, you're either an INCREDIBLY pathological liar (which *I* think you are) or someone hacked in your computer (which I doubt ever happened) and posted the following mesage.... =====BEGIN PASTED MESSAGE===== [View Quote] Mind you, the above was pulled from the archives of the Community NG (where I'm reading this thread from) and while I don't typically side with Filmkr as I'm sure its quite clear that he and I don't see eye to eye, I'm afraid I have no choice this time. You *did* put yourself in this mess and therefore have NO ONE to blame but YOURSELF!!! Secondly, you even had the AUDACITY to GO PUBLIC with this. No one else did this but YOU!!! And you're right, going public with the information you did WOULD be like strolling into an IRC Chat Room (or AW GZ with a PK on hand for those who prefer 3D) and typing www.warez.com because that is EXACTLY what you did (except you used the NGs rather than AW GZ or an IRC channel because you KNEW that getting on AW GZ or an IRC channel on oh say DalNet would get kicked and banned). With that said Mod, do us ALL a favor. GO AWAY!!! Patrick WARNING: IMPORTANTApr 2, 2002, 2:20am
Hi everyone:
[View Quote] Like I said before, I *misread* the earlier posts regarding Strike being the alleged hacker. I *do* apologize for that. However OTOH, I have NO sympathy for DarkMod. He/She publicly (and seemingly quite proudly) admitted to the crime IMO. Chris, am I not correct on this assessment??? Patrick Worlds Transit Authority Teleport StationApr 1, 2002, 7:58pm
Hi everyone:
[View Quote] Ya still might wanna double-check those coordinates as I had to elevate myself to about roughly 3.9 meters just to have basic movement. Perhaps you could post some street level coords.???? :-) Patrick I apologize...Apr 2, 2002, 2:47am
Hi everyone:
[View Quote] Dark Mod, IF they were "given to you as you claim, then you should have either DELETED them or turned them into AWcom for further investigation. By doing what you did by posting them on a website, you subjected yourself AND your parents to CRIMINAL PROSECUTION!!! Do you know what this means??? This means that either YOU or (most likely) YOUR PARENTS would have to GO TO JAIL!!! Now, as it stands, you'll most likely have to testify against the person who gave the passwords to you in the first place. This puts you in an EVEN WORSE position. On top of that, it'll all be in front of a jury panel which will undoubtedly look upon you with the same eye as Baro has done. The BEST thing you can do for the AW Community is to just leave. You've done enough damage to the Community as a whole to last a lifetime. It took guts for you to have done by admitting that you were wrong and I hope ya learned something from all of this. I really do. But I think the BEST thing you can do is just leave. Just my $.02 worth.... Patrick I apologize...Apr 2, 2002, 8:27pm
Hi everyone:
[View Quote] For once, I agree with Filmkr (although I cannot attest to what he claims to be fact nor am I about to). However though, *I'm* not going to *force* him into doing *anything*. IF he leaves, it'll either be because A). The Feds seized his computer or B). He does so VOLUNTARILY. I am merely *suggesting* that he do the latter for the best of everyone involved (which is the entire AW Community). Patrick I apologize...Apr 3, 2002, 12:08am
Hi everyone:
[View Quote] Like I said before, *I* won't *force* him to do *anything*. IF he is forced to leave, it'll be through LEGAL means which *I* won't be the one to excercise because I have NO REASON to do so. Now, if that lands me on a few people's sh*t lists, then so be it because that's just the way I feel. Do I take any pride in asking someone to leave??? Of course not. And if *I* were asked to leave, I'd really hate it, but I would do so. But honestly, had it not been for his illegal activities, it would be sad to see him go. But now, I won't even shed a tear. I'll wish him luck though (and I *do wish him luck should he choose to leave), but that's it. With that said, let's just drop this, okay??? No need to be at each other's throats. And besides, we can always just simply agree to disagree and move on (which I think we should do). Life's too good to dwell on only ONE issue. :-) Cheers for now my friends :-) Patrick I apologize...Apr 3, 2002, 9:47pm
Hi everyone:
[View Quote] So were Dylan Klebold, Eric Harris, and that kid from Springfield, Oregon and look what THEY did.... So is your point being that because Mod is (??) a kid, he shouldn't be punished?!?!?!? You're beginning to sound like all those parents who keep taking the "MY KID DOES NOT COMMIT CRIMES. NOT MY KID!". Look at where that has led this society. WAKE UP PEOPLES!!!! If a kid breaks the law, he/she should be *punished accordingly*. Does anyone not agree with me on this??? Hi everyone:
[View Quote] I hate to be the bearer of bad news Dark Mod, but do you *really* want the archives of this NG to bear you out on this??? I pasted one such example of you admissions in an earlier post. So even if the PKs *don't* have the logs Filmkr believes they do, you certainly won't be able to prove the archives of this NG (which AWcom no doubt probably hasd in hard copy and/or CD-ROM by now) wrong. Looks like your the one needing growing > up, maybe we should just end this post here and save the time and bandwidth. Ohhh....The humanity of it all.... Hi everyone:
[View Quote] Thanks for the move back Bill. Much appreciated :-) I say this because one of the first things I noticed was the fact that the main server doesn't seem to fall out of line so much as the other server did. One bad turn and BLAMMO - I would find myself going down the road in almost a "zig zag" fashion. This is DESPITE clearing the cache and/or teleporting myself back into proper position. Now with the main server, it's no problem. I simply re-position myself and I'm off again. MUCH easier going down the road this way. :-) Hopefully you guys can find a fix for the other server whereas it acts a lot like the old one does. Need a few opinions....Apr 21, 2002, 5:30am
Hi everyone:
Been busy building away in the Town Square District of Hamsterville working on the park, but now it seems as though I've built myself into a bit of a quandry. I have the Town Square Park almost complete with the exception of some more trees and other shrubbery as well as pots, flowers and (of course!) trash cans. But, I'd like to run a street along the west side of the park (coords available on request - Taking a cue from the last time I posted coords. in here :-)) to seperate Town Square Park from the other park or forest or whatever it's supposed to be on the other side of the street. My problem is the park lake as well as the surrounding walkway is right in the way and is about as close to the adjoining property without trespassing as you could possibly get. A third of me says move EVERYTHING down a little bit to the south and bring the street right on in while another third of me says delete the road and extent the walkway out almost to the street alongside the north side of the park while yet ANOTHER third of me says to simply create another street (which I really don't want to do). In short, I'm perplexed as to which of my three sides to listen to. If ya want the coords. so you can take a look for yourself, send me a telegram or simply add me (PC Hamster - without the parenthesis (sp?)) to your contacts list and join me (I'll add just about anyone who's a regular poster to these groups who wants to be added). I'll also be in my newly created park should you go crusin' the NE side of AW and happen to miraculously spot me as well. This really isn't a help matter per se, but I could a few opinions though.... :-) I look forward to your reply... :-) Cheers for now everyone :-) Patrick Cook pchamster at msn.com Denver, Colorado SAPPHIRE ESTATES!Apr 22, 2002, 5:15am

Hi everyone:
[View Quote] Not to sound critical or anything but being someone who's going to put a virtual TV station in his town, I think this group could use a little work. By that I mean next time some world has a major event coming up, EMAIL THESE GUYS so that it can be televised LIVE!!! It'd be GREAT to see the Cy Awards on TV like other award shows (except the Webbys). I wonder if the cys *have* been carried live before... Just curious... :-) In any case, hopefully AWcom's deal with NetBroadcaster will change all that whereas before they know it, they'll be BUSIER than bees after honey!! :-) And should I get my virtual TV station studios built before AWcom consummates their deal with NetBroadcaster (which seems to be likely), the word "they" in my post will obviously be replaced with "we'll" as you bet *I'll* jump right on in.... :-) If not, well....I may just pick up programming from the existing networks :-) Just my $.02 worth....Cheers for now :-) Patrick Cook Mayor - City of Hamsterville Owner - KPDC Internet TV pchamster at msn.com Denver, Colorado http://kpdcnettv.tripod.com/ NetworksMay 6, 2002, 1:11pm
Hi everyone:
[View Quote] Cool.... :-) > As for the AW TV Alliance, it is still being worked on, and isn't complete > (it needs a much better web design, for example), but we do encourage any > stations who are up and running to apply for membership! Well...after doing a little more research, it looks as though the (possible) tandem of ABN TV and XEON TV may be just the ticket to go once I get my studios built (they'll also house my radio stations as well :-)), I will most certainly apply for membership!!! :-) Though I just might run one of the networks on my 3DHP (one of the homes has a TV set) and just pretend I get it off the "dish" in the backyard :-) *LOL!* Ohh...and BTW KAH....I was referring to the NetBroadcaster deal possibly BENEFITTING the networks, but now that I think about it, AW hasn't even mastered the art of transmitting audio (aside from midi or other music files and other noises) over 3D yet. In other words, giving us a TALK option whereas we can simply speak into a microphone. So given that, somehow I don't think that televising the Cys - complete with audio and using RealVideo or Windows Media video - will be possible for quite sometime (if ever!) But it was a nice dream anyhow... :-) Cheers for now everyone :-) NetworksMay 6, 2002, 1:24pm
Hi everyone:
[View Quote] Goober is right there Alpha. Afterall, which network has JOAN RIVERS been on during The Academys??? How 'bout The Emmys??? The Golden Globes??? She sure *hasn't* been on the network that *broadcasts* said events. If she has, then either E! went banrupt (which isn't likely since I believe they're owned by Time-Warner) or she's HOSTED said event(s) at one time or another. Goober, am I off base here??? In any case, why should The Cys be any different??? Sure have ONE network *broadcast* the event (and their affiliated stations carry it), but at least let ALL the members of the virtual press have & SHARE the *interviewing* rights. That's how the other awards show do it. Right Goober??? [View Quote] Umm Wizard.....While I'm sure you had the best of intentions in mind, but ummm....at the risk of sounding INCREDIBLY STUPID, I have but one question.... WHY does this forum even exist??? I mean think about it. We have several newsgroups and probably a few Yahoo! Groups as well. For chatting, we all know where we can go. This is pretty self explanatory (not to mention OBVIOUS). :-) > The forum is immoderate and we welcome suggestions for new areas to include. Isn't this a little redundant??? > We have on line live chat facilities as well. It is freely accesable and > free to all. That's about the ONLY asset this forum has (and even then, Yahoo! Groups fills this gap quite nicely! :-)). Like I said, I'm sure you had nothing but the best of intentions in mind, but I just don't see a need for yet ANOTHER forum that someone will soon have to moderate. Maybe I'm wrong and just being plain pessimistic. Who knows?? But I certainly wouldn't get your hopes up in counting on everyone signing up for this new forum if *I* were you.
