Figures I wouldn't get it. I have not paid more than $40 for a good durable
pair of shoes in my life. LOL

Yes chat range for a bot. I agree it should be able to be set by the world
CT myself. But it would be nice to have the CT be able to allow for bots
that can cover a whole world. Maybe even have it on the world rights list as
somethign certain people can do and others cannot.

Passport and how AW could make more money

Mar 5, 2002, 7:49pm
Gee I already have an AW ID card. COurse I also have a laminator, Adobe
Photoshop, various Avery systems programs and products, and a good color
printer.

Mirror....

Mar 8, 2002, 3:14pm
Worlds.com I checked that out. Whatta joke. They are laggy as heck, have the
worst avatars, and lame looking worlds. HOWEVER, they have two things AW
needs to get. Mirrors, and a working "on the fly" avatar generator.

It's still nto a mirror enough for someone to view their own avatar or
something.

Oh heck, ever the old Duke Nukem had working mirrors. From what I understand
it it the RWX that makes it difficult. Roland? Any thoughts?

Help?

Mar 24, 2002, 7:40am
I need three rotates for somethign in my world and I am stumped.
One needs to rotate once in 1440 minutes.
One needs to rotate ten times in 1440 minutes.
And the last needs to rotate 500 times in 1440 minutes.

I know what I need but I am not able to figure the math out.
Anyone out there know the formula for it?

Help?

Mar 24, 2002, 8:35am
It does thank you. The custom clock on my world now works right. Now to just
set it correctly *grin*

WARNING: IMPORTANT

Ummmm a question? How does this pertain to most of the NG's you crossposted
to? It should have been put in WORLDBUILDERS and thats it!

And they cannot find out about it from ONE NG?

I still think cross posting was not nessasary in the least.

*grins at wings* I have to agree I belive it was all blown out of proportion
as well. Barsoom has it's password, and I will be hornswaggled if I am going
to spend another 2 weeks uploading files just to change it unless I "have"
to.

A thought

How about somethign in the world settings that allows a world owner to
specify an object to load when soemone typos a model filename?
This sure would help people keep from losing those darn LBT's.

A thought

Apr 5, 2002, 10:37pm
Yeah but as a world setting it would not require a special scripting running
on a server. Lots of world owners do nto have the ability to run one.

Re: 3.3 Feature list

I dunno bout you but I have been doign mass deletions in exactly this way
since the advent of 3.0, so I am unsure how come you say it cannot be done?

Quake a hacking training ground? ROFLMAO.
Snowcrash and Neuromancer hacking manuals? OMG.

Sounds like this person is not just computer illeterate, but common sense
deficent as well. Rule of thumb...

If you are unsure if it is fitting for your children, check it out for
yourself. Don't just take someone else's word for it.

The scary part is, even if this whole thing is a joke. There will be alot of
uninformed parents who will take it as gospel.
Afterall in America at least we have a large population of sheep, and very
few who will think for themselves if they can get someone else to do it for
them.

In world spam?

Dec 15, 2001, 6:30am
Does anyoen but me think it rude when soemone pops into their world and
shouts some message for people to visit a build somewhere else, then
leaves? Am I just being over touchy on this?

In world spam?

Dec 15, 2001, 3:44pm
Well to me it is not the fact they come in and give their message, it's that
they never bother to stay around long enough to answer any questions that
someone might wish to ask about it.

Had a guy do this in my world (Barsoom) the other night, and he was gone before
I could even greet him. When I grammed him to please not do that in my world
anymore, he got all indignant, like my world was paid for just so he could
advertise.

I could see doing this stuff at like oh, AW GZ, or AWGate, ua know the freebie
worlds. But to enter a world someone paid for and do it just seems wrong to me.

Testing new newsgroup reader.

10 seconds? Oh 56K? Gods I wish. I am on 56K here and I wait a good 45 seconds
each time. I also am not the only one waiting that long (or longer). I know one
person of DSL who takes longer than I do to load it.
