Well smart (no offense) people would only keep a month or twos worth of
posts which is an option in the options menu. I do understand what your saying but if you use it properly its fine and convenient since my i get my email int he same program. The text wrapping thing never appear on this program when i view any mesages i guess it only does that on certain newsreaders. If you use this reader correctly you can read posts without the 1 minute wait as you said and still be able to see html posts if they are you wish to download them as long as its small enough or you can shut it off or just read them as text (i think that is possible). RichText means it colors, bold, italics, etc....it shows it by using html

with this slide detection people can walk though walls now. someone i know

I totaly agree. The godo thing they did is the reset roation button and snap

The thing is the question mark is there if your online or offline so you
cant really tell. Actually I enjoy making people talk to themselves while they go crazy and
everyone else laughs. It's fun making them say things rofl....I know im so mean imp sorry but its REALLY funny ;) I'll probably get bored of it soon and stop but alls I can say it great future! If your afk you should not be disturbed anyway unless the person is rude or

Well first of all i don't use that feature unless its to one person or a few
i happen to not want to see my status but then if i have to do that im usually blockign telgrams and joins for them also. Just to clear this up (again) its called "Hide my online/offline status" which means you cannot tell if they are online or OFFLINE. "Also based on public feedback, the terrain is now visible beyond the world
limits. Activeworlds will now display a flat terrain with the default texture beyond the buildable area of the world. " Although VERY GOOD (listening to the users actually) part of this is VERY BAD! Its starting to seem like this new feature makes the assumption that all worlds will want to use the same terrain texture as their main one. One world that uses my object path has a default texture of sand and the other worlds have to edit every single terrain square to change them all to grass. So this means the world that have changed their terrain to grass will have uneditable sand surrounding their world! A simple feature that was left out would be to have a variable "Default terrain" other then always terrain0. In the world feature list a simple box. If empty it shows the terrain0 from the OP. You type in the "Default terrain texture" and any texture that is classified as using the default texture (terrain0) will be changed to that number texture (1-60whatever). If you want to take it a step further, although not necessarily needed, you can enter any texture on the OP to be used. This is a MUST NEED feature and is as essential as the GROUND option is! This is as bad as if there was only one ground on the OP that you had to use and was unchangable. -- My second comment is about the feature vote page. Is this going to be updated any time soon? As I've heard, only the first stage of 3.4 has planned features. I also forgot to mention that another simple world option could be to change
the hight of all the terrain so a bot would not be needed. I would definitly like to build at 0a and change the terrain hieght to -0.1a or something. You could even include a random terrain generator. (sorry to everyone who already made bots for this but having it built into the browser is more conveinent) Even better, a new menu in the world options for terrain. Can include all my previus terain options and move the enable terrain checkbox there. Onnnnnne more thing.
Is it just me or does anyone else notice the terrain is a bit darker then the rest of the objects? It shows light well but even with ambient light at total white it can seem almost black, especially on the side of a mountain where the directional light (also white) isnt shining. It looks like ambient light doesn't even effect it. Try making a series of flat walls a bit in the air with walks on either end.
You can get on the walk (to enable gravity) and slide along the wall normally without worrying about falling off. You stick to the wall while sliding all the way across! If this can't be fixed then we should at least have the option for it. With it you can slide right through walls and many place where you normally couldn't unless you have shift. That reminds me that moving or deleting an object that isn't yours and running through before it pops back up needs to be fixed also. They are supported in 3.3 but no one knows exactly how to do it yet. At

This is the worst problem i've seen with terrain....again it seems like the
terrain was only designed like only one world would be using one object path at a time. My world that uses my object path needs a default terrain texture of sand while a lot of other worlds using my object path (after a logn time) have changed all their terrain to grass. Now (although ive seen this with build 417 also) all terrain out of the building limit is the default terrain texture. In my case that means those people with grass now have sand sorounding their entire world. They cannot edit this and its the most horrible looking thing imaginable. Is it so hard to fix this? btw is it just me becuase i was running build 41 and then i closed it and
installed build 42 which started right aftwards. Now it wont connect at all saying "Unable to send server start. Retrying . . ." over and over. Yey what a nice upgrade *uninstall* |
