Lol...
if there IS a registry it means there is enroahcment when someone builds on
another perosn area....no registry means theres no way to detect enroahcment
so peopel can build anywhere even over or under anothers.

are you sure the bot is even running on the same citnumber as the
feild....maybe you made the feidl bigger then you actually made it...theres
tons of reasons that couldve happened and the community knows its a beta so
thats warning enough.

Im running an av99bot to run 4 bots right now for a world ( all int he same
world). And two of them keep doign this
20:48:41 Bot 3 [BOTNAME] - [BOTNAME] enters universe ActiveWorlds with
citizen number [citnumber], heading for
all other bots that are running under the same cit that has enter and bot
rights
[snip] enters universe ActiveWorlds with citizen number [samecitnumberp],
heading for [TheRightWorld]
the two that arent logging in log into the universe but show the world as
blanka nd do not log into it. I have entered the world right in the ntries
and even copied them so they all haev the same data except for script, name,
and location.
Sometimes this happens on my X1 where if im just starting up the appand the
script is set to autoload the world name is blank and i have to re enter it
for ti to log into the world.
I have all the newest versions and i dont know what else is wrong

I'm a little confused on this aw_console_message thing. Does it mean the bot
sends a message to a user but it can appear in any color or style and
without a name prefix?
If so this is a very cool feature. RPG bots can now display a players stats
or give them messages while still saying hidden from the whisper and without
a name above their head. Games can be improved. Great feature.

WHY the hell do we need !'s in a world name? It's a puncuation is not
needed. I hate how people do A!!!!!! just to get to the top and most of
them are quickly put together and scream at you when you enter. I say take

i agree.....i cant run my sweet looking black with orange text color scheme
because all of aws text is black and i cant see them in that color scheme so
i am forced to use light colors which are bright and if i dim my moniter so
its not so bright its hard to read the text. You should just be able to
chaneg the colors of each type of text and not the font becuase people would
choose huge fonts or bold fonts or whatever.

ok what im saying is aw could let you change the actually text color in the
chat window. Right now Windows forces the background color acording to your
color scheme which some people like different form the defualt. If they aded
an option to chnage the text color, people with black windows and white text
wouldnt be able to see the text becuase the text is always black but the
background is also chnaged ot black.
Programs can change the colors, just becuase some IM program might not have
it doesnt mean its not possible.

but what if its a public building world...I went into awteen once and it
showed me the op url.
This is also an important issue for me because other worlds use my OP
besides me and I can't or won't control who has builds in those worlds
because that's up to the caretakers. I think there should be a way to change
it so that it doesn't show at all, only shows for CTs (since they can see it
anyways), and not to show it at all.
Better yet, why don't they just change it to say something like
Warning: unable to download object.zip (file not found)
I mean, does anyone REALLY need to know the OP url to know that the ob they
just built wasn't found? Uh... NO!

Thing is all the op urls are still displayed in the cache. I see that as the
only MAJOR problem becuase it is so easy to get them this way. Its really
easy to get them and they using ways people have mentioned before they can
download an ob to crack it.

I'm sure people will find ways to get around it. If you really want a maze
just make one in your world if you have one or another one with shift off.

What is this any difference from kids being able to click the "I am 18 years
of age or older" link on a porn site? Well first of all that site most
likely shows a lot more then Gor worlds do and is much easier to get into
because you don't see the website ejecting you if you don't answer them. Its
basically the parents job to monitor what the kid is doing but I somewhat
agree that putting passwords on parental lock would be good the only thing
is parents usually don't know what AW is or how to use it so when the kid
first runs it most likely they will just set it to X and set their own
password and not tell parents about it.
So hiding these worlds would overprotect them and keep out anyone who is old
enough to see them and wants to at the same time. Theres really nothing we
can do about it and it's the sad truth.
