Half the people couldnt connect or start their worlds becuase all the DNS
servers don't just instantly know the new ip adress of the new server. It
shoud be all updatd by now though.

Look they don't think about these kinds of things the way we do. Religious
beliefs or any other beliefs can drive a person to do anything if they
believe its the right thign to do. Who knows maybe they think jesus was born
there or something. Its not somethign i want to get into becuase i really
cant do anything about it.

The smart thing to do would be to return it to the store you bought it from
and try to get a replacement or get your money back and buy another sound
card of a different brand. That particular card might just not work properly
on your computer for some reason. There MAY by ways to fix the problem you
have and to still be able to use it but i don't know how this could be done.

Since the patch is only avaliable for 5.x and i have 6 then im all set for
that sort of thing. An e-mail scanning capable virus-scanner is also a good
thing becuase it will catch the virus before you even open it and get rid of
it. I also have mine scan outgoing so that if somethign tries to automaticly
send a virus to everyone on my adress book for example it will detect it and
block those.
If you have 5.x of internetexplorer/outlookexpress then apply that patch.

It could be from someone else. Just becuase they may happen to of been in
your adress book (by which viruses get email adresses to send themselves to)
doesn't nesecarily mean it was you.

I've been running DX 8.1 since...well....I can't really remember since I
don't even know when it came out. I don't think it was too shortly after it
did though. I've never had any huge problems with it and certainly no more
then any other version. Although I have to admit AW runs a lot smoother on
OpenGL which is what I use.
And maybe it's just me but umm...isn't 3.3 the only one that has enhanced
graphics for 8.1? In 3.3 I think there is a new video mode for 8.1 which is
supposed to increase performance so you could judge a lot better then.
I think the reason why SO many people are having trouble is because they run
it on ancient computers. I mean...that's like trying to run XP on a 15 year
old computer heh. They just think it has ot be the software thats doing it
when its usually not the case. That's why new computers run it so good is
becuse theyre faster and usually have the latest video drivers.

Maybe but look at the bright side. Maybe this will start up the highly
needed marketing change for AW and maybe if we had new managment we could
finally take some large steps in the right direction. Let's just hope the
best comes out of this.

Id gladly add better female avatars to my world if someone would make some.
And about the first avatar being male. Well i just copied aws avatar list
for the first part and everyones alwasy accepted it that way. I havent heard
anyone complain. People USUALLY just switch their av when they come in and
not complain you only have to do it once you know.

<http://www.lindows.com/walmart>
Microtel computer ranging from $299 to $599 at Walmart. They come with the
new Lindows OS. You can reaad about Lindows at <www.lindows.com> Its basicly
a linux based OS with a windows envrionment that can run (suposedly) both
Linux and Windows software. I'm not sure if this is technically true becuase
they have a download page where you can download windows products but they
might just my linux versions of them. Not sure though. Its $100 a year for
access to a download of the OS or orderign a CD and full access to a
download page for tons of software.
Anyways...this cought my attention and i believe this is a very big step in
